Soap dish great, brackets not

This is the third soap dish I’ve had to purchase when the soap dish was fine but the brackets keep breaking and you cannot purchase the larger bracket without purchasing the entire soap dish that comes with two brackets/holders., one small and one larger. Otherwise this works fine

Bracket breaks same way every time

The product is defective. The bracket is not strong enough for the normal tension placed on it by fitting around the shower bar. I have to replace it about twice per year.

terrible design

I have many grohe products and this is the only one that I have had consistent problems with. I have ordered 3 and all have broken over time.

Poor Degding

We remodeled our bath less than 3 years ago. I have replaced two of these soap dishes and now need to replace the soap dish again. We had Grohe faucets installed because of the quality of the products. I hope the quality is not declining on all of the other Kitchen and two bath remodel that where done at the same time.

The Clip That Holds the Tray Breaks

I've had to replace the soap dish five times because the clip that holds the tray breaks. It seems that the clip is over-stressed, and eventually cracks under normal wear and tear. While these have a lifetime warranty, there still is the hassle of getting it replaced. There is a free design for 3D printers for the clip on the Thingiverse web site.

They break

We have two showers equipped with Grohe fixtures. Over a three year period, we had to replace four soap dishes. The bracket just breaks for no reason. Grohe needs to redesign the bracket.

Ours broke after about 2 years. It would be great to be able to replace just the ring as I hate throwing away plastic stuff and the dish itself is fine, but even better for the ring to be more durable.

Only lasted three months...

I was initially very satisfied with the purchase, it was well priced and seemedva clever accessory for the shower bar. We needed a soap dish and this allowed for one without drilling into the shower wall. The clip broke after about three months for seemingly no reason. There was no impact, it just gave up one day. The soap dish is nowvon the tub deck. The replacement clips should be sold separately (inexpensively) or replaced for free. Better yet, Grohe should sell these with metal clips....the plastic dish is fine but this clip should be spring steel or something that will hold up.

Have a spare on hand!!

Because they break after a few months. We are on our 4th in two years. It is the only one that will fit our shower bar, so we are stuck. I'm ordering the spare I have to have on hand, since I just put our spare one on.
