This item is far "more" than just a soap dish!

I have purchased InterDesign products in the past and I always have found them to be highly functional products at a reasonable price. This item was no exception! This soap dish is crystal clear and looks real rich and it has a relatively thick and strong construction. InterDesign makes a different model of similar construction and functionality (i.e., solid bottom with no openings in addition to having a crystal clear body); however, that model is "oval" in shape. The rectangular shape of this soap dish manufacturer product number 28900 gives the user of this product the option to use it for "several" purposes as it has more surface area--in terms of having 90 degree outer corners. I purchased "several" of this item from The Home Depot and I use one as a soap dish<>saver, one as a holder of my Scotch Brite kitchen sponge to protect my stainless sink from hard water deposits and/or surface rust, another to hold my men's 5-blade shaving razor so that I can protect my laminated bathroom cabinet from water damage, and yet another one of these InterDesign soap dishes to hold my spare pocket change. I am sure that others who choose to purchase this item would be able to find yet other uses for this item! This company also goes by the name of iDesign. The Home Depot is offering this item at an extremely reasonable price as I have seen this same item go for many times more in price from other sources. I have provided a photo image which, I hope, will serve as an aid to visually show how I will be using this great product.

Hey look a decent soap dish this is amazing

It's plastic so it won't rust like metal (I own *two* rusted soap holders...) or shatter like ceramic. It's big enough for a soap bar (don't take that for granted, believe me...). Easy to clean if you want. Doesn't have any drainage holes but you could probably poke some with a power drill if you really wanted. It's very light, but seems sturdy enough.

I have a metal soap dish that I love...it has started to rust from the wet soap. This is perfect. It is clear so I can still see the metal. No more rust. Perfect solution.

Sleek and pretty

This dish goes with my chrome faucets. I keep a large rectangle soap on top standing and it looks decorative and functional and does not take up much space. I like its sleek lines and pedestal type base.
