I hate this rug, with a passion. Its only possible function is to be hung on the wall. It frays like nobody's business even in low traffic areas. I do not have much foot traffic, but threads are already coming out of the braiding. Now I will have to find the time to sew them back in or glue them in. Oh, and the size is not an exact 9'x12'. It is an approximate size. I would like to be able to pay in approximate dollars. I do not recommend this rug.

Great Jute rug with low pile

I got this rug to replace my other Jute Safavieh rug that has a higher pile. We are getting a dog and other dogs that have visited didn’t like my current Jute rug, so I thought this would be better. This is definitely more comfortable to walk on, easier to vacuum, and I searched long-and-hard to make sure it had a backing. I am giving it a 4 (instead of 5) because the white and gray stripe is much pronounced than the picture makes it out to be. Other than that, it is great and I get lots of compliments.

Nice rug - hard to move dining chairs on it though

I do love the look of this rug. It is nice and thick and substantial and it brightens up my breakfast nook the way I thought it would. But, I really don’t like that chairs don’t slide at all on them. You have to pick up your chair and hop it to the table and hop it back away when you eat. You may use it under a coffee table or something in which case you wouldn’t have this problem! I haven’t had it long enough to know if the fibers are prone to fraying or not. So, overall I am satisfied and rate it 4 stars
