Really happy with this rug. Actually I bought two in different sizes in blue for two boys rooms. I put them on top of a woven rug pad, and they are very soft under foot. The color is cheerful, and the pattern is timeless. I wouldn’t put this in a high traffic area or an area where pets play because I would worry that the weave might snag. But it is perfect for a cozy bedroom rug.

Beautiful rug, will need a rug mat underneath to prevent movement. Colors - light green with traces of soft gray on a white background. Soft underfoot.

I absolutely love this rug. I have a pad underneath plus rug grip tape to keep it from moving. I wanted something in the middle of my bathroom that would coordinate with the two wide blue striped runners in front of the sinks. Recent move to the beach encourages a more nautical look. I bought a smaller matching one for the water closet. Love love the look.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this rug, which I got in Aqua/Ivory and put under my kitchen table. One side of the rug has the ivory background, the other has the aqua, so depending on what you need it is versatile. Definitely needs a pad underneath, and carpet tape (wrinkles without the tape). Love it so much I would but another color/size for another room. My dog also loves the coziness of it, and sleeps on it all day :)

Not As Described

There is nothing wrong with the quality of this Savafieh rug, and others may love it. The problem is with the description of the rug. It is simply not even close to aqua. It is, as one reviewer said, who I should have heeded, a much darker hue. It is a deep turquoise. That makes the rug much higher contrast than it appears to be in the photographs and than the “aqua and ivory” name indicates. I'm disappointed because I thought I was getting a soft pastel rug, and I can't use it. Unfortunately I don't have the physical or financial wherewithal to return it.

While I liked the colors of this rug, we needed something a bit more neutral and decided to exchange it. It seemed to be of good quality and the specifications that were listed on the website were accurate. The aqua is a nice pop of color for any living room/common area. We were a bit concerned that the light color would show dirt easily so I would probably recommend that this rug be used in a bedroom or bathroom rather than a high-traffic area - unless you don't have kids, of course.

Another positive experience with Overstock! I purchased this rug for our new home in an effort to warm up our upstairs tiled area and it did just that. The colors are very neutral but work well with our nautical decor. My male boxer has decided that it's his new favorite place to lay down because of its softness. The rug came well packedd and appears to be a really nice quality. I would recommend this as a great purchase.

This is beautiful rug. It is handmade/loomed so don't expect perfectly straight edges. It has a very earthy and organic feel/look. I'm hoping it will be durable for pets but it's looped design may be tricky if claws get caught. There is a bit of a dirt-stain mark on one of the sides (on the white trim), but I can imagine this rug will be a dirt/stain magnet. However, since I don't wear or allow shoes indoors, hopefully it will prevent shoe-print marks on the rug.
