This rug is spectacular! I looked at 4000,00 dollar rug and chose this one instead ! Best decision . It is a little smaller then 8x10 I assume because it is handmade only by 4 inches
Safavieh Elfie Handmade Jute Area Rug
Another Safavieh natural jute rug with a very handsome handmade design . I use organic rugs to protect my wood floors from the large palm & Corn plants that I bring in for the winter . Jute absorbs moisture and accidental spills while watering the plants .Always lift the rug to be certain excessive water from your watering can hasn't collected on the floor . Guests complement the handmade designs. We know anything handmade in NYC is expensive , so getting handmade rugs from Safavieh online is a bargain as far as I'm concerned .

This was a really lovely jute rug. I ended up returning it because it did not match my decor- but it was a quality rug. You cant really tell by the pictures but it looks lik there is denim woven fabric with the Jute- Just lovely.

Love Denim & Rope
I now have 3 of these rugs! I love the casual denim rope design. They are very sturdy and hold up well to traffic. Their textures enhance their appearance.
Super love this area rug. I bought it to match two small round rugs of similar material, but this is quite nicer than my old tie rugs. The colors are sharp and the added jute makes it lovely.
I am very disappointed in this rug. I have only had it for 2 weeks, and the braided jute edge is unraveling in several areas. I purchased a similar rug like this 2 years ago through Rugs USA, and although there was some fraying with the denim braided areas (the fabric strips are unbinded), I never had a problem with the jute border fraying. The first rug lasted for 2 years, but this new one looks shabby after only 2xweeks. It certainly isnt worth the 200 I paid for it. I love the colors of the rug as it fits in well with my coastal theme, but I would not recommend it based on its quality.

I took a chance and purchased two of these rugs for our finished basement after reading the mixed reviews. I am really pleased with the color and texture they add to the room. The recycled blue Jean strips woven into the rug give the rugs a unique look and feel that we really enjoy. We got lots of compliments from guests and family. I would recommend this rug to a friend.
Unfortunately this rug has not held up well AT ALL. I am very diligent and take good care of my rugs but this one began to fray from day 1 and is only getting worse.

Not for me
This rug looks very cheap in person and the blue fabric is scraps of blue jeans. The colors are a bit jarring. Quality of the rug seemed fine and if it's your style you might be happy with it but it's much brighter in person. I sent it back with no problems.
PLEASE BEWARE OF SIZING ISSUE: The rug advertised as 8 foot round is actually 7 ft. 6 inches. Important because it looks disproportioned when under a 4 foot table. Repackagin for return is a hassle. Please advertize sizing accurately!

This is the perfect indoor outdoor rug for me. I placed it on my small enclosed patio. Love it. Great price too! I think this would be a nice addition to a casual great room or family room in a larger size.

Beautiful and well constructed rug. Blue is more of a denim and mixed light blue. A true blue.
