Disappointed

I enjoyed my gazebo this Summer. When we started to dismantle for winter when a section of the canopy split. It appears to be dry rotted. I live in WV so it would not be like the heat of Florida. I am very disappointed that I’ve had the gazebo for 6 months and this happened. I am further disappointed to read in comments that the canopy can not be purchased separately. However I read in warranty information that canopies have a 1 year warranty. Am I eligible? This was the perfect product for me.

Decent protection, design flaw punctured roof

This was fairly easy to setup and worked well to provide shelter but after 2 months in one location wi the out much rain it developed holes where the top rested on the pieces of the frame that form peaks between each post.

As expected

After the first setup, it is very easy to put up and take down. It was a nice addition to our camping trip. I do wish it were more compact when packed up. It barely fit in our truck due to the length.

Another quality Coleman product

Nice quality tent for 1-4 people to enjoy. Great value.

The Last Straw

What is missing from the product description is that this canopy tent is intended for indoor use only. If you have a warehouse or gymnasium with a sturdy roof and protection from the wind, then this is the tent for you.

Doesn’t withstand light rain.

I thought this was gojng to be a great alternative to building a gazebo. The frame wouldn’t handle very light rain as when I came back to it the frame buckled as the rain did not run off. I would like to get my money back for this as it was cheap to buy, even on sale.

Don't leave it out in the rain!

This product performs very poorly in rain. We had only used it for one part season and early in the second season, 3 days after the warranty ran out, it collapsed under an unexpected pain storm. Previously we had always taken it down if we expected rain. Very disappointing and when I reached out to customer service they were most unhelpful with parts for us to make a repair.

Disappointing Quality

Bought the product in May. Have used it 3 times over the summer. During most recent use 3 of the 8 plastic collars on the product which the legs slide through broke. Typically a fan of Coleman and bought this both for brand, style, and presumption that cost reflects quality. That unfortunately doesn’t seem to be the case. Trying to get a hold on manufacturer re warranty and replacement with little success so far.

Easy to set up, unfortunately poor quality

I bought this back in may, to use while camping. I was hopeful because of the price I figured it would be better quality than it is. Unfortunately the metal used is very thin and cheap. The brackets for the folding mechanism is cheap plastic. The first rain this tent saw the cover leaked through and pooled on the roof to the point where the framing collapsed. And poles snapped.

Roof textile of low quality

The roof material is brittle and leaks ar common at the metal joints. The textile quality does not match the robust metal skeleton. I need a new roof after just two summers ☀️.

Poorly built. Absolute Garbage!!

Absolute garbage!!! I bought this bug tent hoping to get a few years out of it and I barely got a few months. As others have said it is very poorly designed and constructed. The whole structure collapsed and snapped because it got rained on . There was no way to lock the arms in place once they were exteneded and most of the joints were made of flimsy plastic. I was under the impression that coleman was a quality brand but after this I will not be buying anything from then ever again!

Great but sad they changed it

I absolutely love this canopy, but the old version. The one where the sides could come off. I have three of them and it is wonderful to go camping with it. I put them next to each other with the mosquito netting around all three I end up with one big tent. Please bring the old version back.

Ceiling not waterproof

Bought this for camping to fit a picnic table in. It works great if the weather is nice. It rained and it was dripping through the ceiling all over the picnic table.

Easy to setup

.This twnt is amazingly easy to setup. The structure is very solid and it doesn't move in the wind. Unfortunately, the tarp is super cheap. Leaks water when it rains and tears easy.

Having to repeat my request is concerning

I am still in need of purchasing a cover only. All my communications with you have been to the effect of a cover only

Love it the first season but won’t last this year

I bought it in September 2022 but only installed it at our camper for 2023 season. Had I written my review then, I would have given it 5 stars. I cleaned it and dried it good at the end of 2023 summer. I reinstalled it with no trouble in Early June. 3 weeks later, I barely touched it on the top to brush away a twig and….. oley cow it tore about 4 inches gap where I barely touched it. I tested another spot and by golly, the whole top of it is all brittle and falling apart…. Had I read reviews on another site, I would never have bought this tent as it seems like they have a lifespan of one season, just enough to be out of warranty. Coleman is…..was a trusted name in my book and I blame myself for not having researched this product like I usually do before buying high ticket items.

Terrible

I have never been so disappointed in a product before. I’ve owned it for a month and 3 different sections legitimately snapped in half … I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone.
