worth every penny

well worth the money. I bought two of these 3 yrs ago during long power outage. they take FOUR D batteries but they last FOREVER! Just around house n storms batteries lasted 3 years. camping can last an entire season n still have life. two light positions. no complaints.

Very good lantern. Lightweight enough it can be moved wherever you need it. Puts out a good amount of light. Only draw back for me is battery operated.

Coleman 400 Lumens Personal LED Lantern with 4D Battery.

For many years of camping and being in the outdoors, Coleman has been our go to brand for equipment. We have a wide variety of items and do not have problems with any of them. We have several of these lanterns for emergency use or just every day use. Always throws a bright light.

Never worked. Do not buy!

This lantern is no good. I have never been able to get it to light up

Although I haven't used it for camping, this has been a great backup/emergency lantern when the power has gone out. It has a bright, strong light that illuminates rooms and is portable and easy to use. Several family members have purchased this for use in emergencies.

Really good lantern to use for camping trips. I purchased this several years ago and it’s still in great condition. The battery lasts for few months with the excelent brightness. Good price for such a high quality product. It’s a little heavy for backpacking though. Definitely recommended for anyone love to camp or use it for outdoor activities.

We have had this lantern by Coleman for several years. We use in camping and when the power goes out. The battery last a long time and it gets plenty bright. It’s a good value.

This Coleman Lantern is a much safer option! It’s very bright. We use it when we go camping and if the power goes out at home. I like that you can hang it from the inside of your tent ceiling.

A little too bright

Wanted to use as night light on a nightstand, but they're a little to bright. But they are handy if power goes out. Wish it had three intensity settings.

Need battery

The lantern's great but when I went to go purchase it on the question and answers it made it seem like it was a 100% rechargeable which is not true it uses 4-D's so. I mean it's totally worth you know the 15 bucks but it definitely did not give the description well enough or tell you anywhere that it needed batteries and tell after you purchase it and then open it.

No Need For Candles!

Praise the LORD! With the power outages we were having, I didn't need to hunt for candles. The fact that the lamp has two settings is a plus. On high, it lit up my living room, kitchen and down the hallway. The price was just right too!
