Missing instructions and lid

Like another customer, the instructions were missing from the kit. The container didn’t come with a lid. Very disappointing especially for the price.

great for kids

This is a great item for children that love dinosaurs and love to do crafts. Very entertaining and creative for children. They love to see the beautiful crystals develop. Highly recommend.

Super cool!

We followed the included directions and have had no issues so far. We’ve only completed our first dinosaur but got great results. My five year old loves it!

Instructions missing

Instructions would have been helpful! Box contained three dinosaurs, one small plastic tub with a lid, three sachets with fairly alarming warnings on them, and that's it. Disappointing.

Don't Buy This!!!!

Please don't buy the crystal dinosaurs and end up disappointing your kids or as I did, my grandson! Tried two of the three dinosaurs with him and he ended up crying after doing each, as they totally didn't work. I haven't called the company as yet, but hope to before the week is out to see if I can get my money back! Sadly, nothing can make up for the way my grandson felt, going from excitement to crying!!!

Not worth it

This was not a good product. The cup that holds liquids broke right away and leaked. Couldn't get it to work at all - would not recommend to anyone. Very expensive and did not work...

Crystal Dinos!

I have to say my kids loved playing with this product. My only complaint was the size of the dinos. I wish they were a little larger as that would make them easier to place more crystals on. That would make a larger growing space and likewise make more crystals. Otherwise the quality of the product was great.

Crystal Dinosaurs is Creative & Fun for Everyone!

The Crystal Dinosaur kit was fun for our whole family! At first, I thought only my eight-year-old son would be interested in Crystal Dinosaurs, but when I opened it up all three of my kids ( ages 12, 10 & 8 ) wanted to create their own Dinosaur. It would have been easier if there were three containers for each dinosaur so that all 3 of my kids could do it at once, but we still LOVED IT! I was happy to be given Crystal Dinosaurs to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Dino Crystal Growing Kit was a hit at our house!

We loved this crystal growing kit! My 8 yr old was the target age but my 3 yr old was engaged and participated with supervision. The kit has 3 dinosaurs and crystal packets and we liked that each result was different. Instructions are simple - an older child could do this independently with some help boiling the water. Overall this was a fun, interactive STEM toy and my 8 year old now wants to get one for her cousin! I received this kit through the Stellar Product Testing Panel to try and review

Fun & Educational

We received these Crystal Dinosaurs as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We had the opportunity to complete the green crystal dinosaur. It was super fun & we can’t wait to complete the other two. The steps were easy to follow & was as fun for me as it was my 10, 6, & 3 year old. I had to take over when using boiling hot water to dissolve the crystal mixture & stirring it. You can’t play with the dinosaurs right away after taking them out of the water because the crystals break off.

Great concept, some drawbacks

My kids were super excited to try this! The boxing and directions are pretty good, we knew what to do right away. Mixing up the crystals with the dinosaurs was easy. My kids also liked the colors that were included. We received this product to review from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but I would have purchased myself and would send as a gift in the future! One downside is that only one cup is included, which is kind of a bummer if you want to do all three dinosaurs at once.

Easy Fun with Dinosaurs and Science

When the Crystal Growing Dinosaur Kit arrived my 4 and 7 year old boys wanted to get started right away. The instructions were clear and simple and my boys could take part in all the steps. They didn't mind waiting the full day for the crystals to grow. They turned out perfectly! Since I have 3 kids, I would have liked to have been able to do all 3 dinosaurs at the same time, but there was only one container. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this activity!

Kids thought it was cool

My kids were so excited to get this from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that there was 1 cup included for 3 Dino’s. Which means you can only do 1 at a time unless you use your own containers (which we did) because making a kid wait 48 hours for their turn is hard. Using our own containers meant they didn’t all work. Only the cup provided worked as pictured. Overall kids had fun and loved watching them grow but they need to included 2 additional cups.

Best Crystal Growing Kit Yet

We have done many crystal growing kits over the years and this by far takes the cake. I have a 10, 7 and 5 year old and all three were engaged and entertained. The dinosaurs were heavy and sturdy the instructions were simple and the crystals came out beautifully. If I hadn't received through the Stellar Product Testing Panel I would have bought on my own and going forward would not hesitate to buy as a gift for any dino loving kid.

Fun Crystal Dinosaur Growing Kit

We had so much fun with this kit! We received it as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and my kids are so thankful for it!! My 5, 6 and 11 year old each enjoyed having their own dinosaur. I helped the younger ones, but my oldest was able to follow the instructions on her own. It was very exciting, yet took patience in waiting until the next night for the finished product, and it was so worth it! My son even showed his dinosaur to his class, very proud of himself for growing it.

Dino-awesome crystal growing kit!

This is a great crystal growing kit. The cup that you grow the crystals in feels super cheap and the bottom is rounded so I was afraid it would tip over. The dinosaurs only have a small strip down their backs for the crystals to attach. When we put the crystal powder into the cup it looked like an awful lot. It dissolved super quick and very easily. We put the dinosaur in at dinnertime and the next morning it was FULL-I was shocked! Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for this fun set!

Within 4 hours we had noticable crystal growth. If the solution is not well mixed, the powder does not fully dissolve, resulting in little crystal growth.
