My hamster went right over the top of it. He climbed right up the side, waste of money unless you use it for a small rabbit.

Exactly what I needed for my guinea pigs when I put them outside in the grass for some sun!!

Size

I needed this exact size for tiny kittens. Mom could still get in but babies could not get out.

Too short for bunnnies

I've never had a bunny before. I am housesitting one for a week and bought this to help keep him enclosed in an area. His mom said he'd jump right over it, so not a good purchase, LOL. So don't buy for a bunny! I had a rescue hamster and I think he'd climb right over it as well. So I'm not sure what critter could successfully use it.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! Flimsy piece of junk. Returning it and I have to pay shipping. Really not happy. My granddaughters baby bunny got out of it and disappeared. It shows to have a green bottom but that is not included. Now I am buying another bunny. This was just a place for him to be outside for a short time but that didnt work out well.

I actually bought 2 to link together. It gives them a large play area. The only negative is sometimes it may come unlinked if bumped or moved- so it can be a little escape route.

Too small for my rabbit.

Hedgehog escaped

This is a great little playpen, but my hedgehog escaped by simply burrowing under it at the closure point and pushing it up with his nose, thereby unhooking it. I improvised and secured it easily enough, but, something to be aware of. He did that on day one

Excellent for guinea pig floortime!

I bought three of these fences so that I could link them up and make a big play area for my guinea pigs during floortime. Omg it's working out SO well! It's easy to put them together and the nature of the panels means I can make whatever playpen shape I want. I would say get at least 2 or 3 of them for a good big size floortime. I want my piggies to have room to explore and run around in a space bigger than their cage. My piggies are on the larger size but they're not jumpers so they've never tried to escape. I didn't think the fence was as short as others said but it depends on your piggy and if they jump. Anyway I would definitely recommend this if you don't have jumpy guinea pigs, Ive loved having it for floor time and it works great! Piggies seem to like it too :)

With a couple exceptions, definitely!

I bought 2 of these and connected them together and it’s fantastic! Love love love that they it provides enough room to truly run around and exercise. The only downfall is that there’s no way to attach a water bottle because the nozzle of three water bottles won’t fit in between the bars and it’s also NOT strong enough (flimsy) to hold the weight of a water bottle. I STILL RECOMMEND this for floor time tho. I put a small bowl of water for them to be able to get a drink while they played.
