Very easy to use retrofitting old smaller recessed lights. I cut a big hole in the template so it was just a half inch ring so I could easily line it up and position it to cut out the extra while keeping the lights in line without measuring. Worked like a charm.

Hot base
The back side of the light is very hot and the exposed part of the light is cool. Is this a safety issue?
I love the fact that I can rough in all of my lights and then simply cut, plug in and secure the lights. No need for positioning boxes or wiring after the drywall

These are thicker than typical drywall. Unfortunately, if you have a stud to deal with, they will not fit properly. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

I bought it to complete the amount of lights I needed to replace all the lights around the house. This is a complete light with lots of features imbedded. I like their design and lighting delivery, it has an integrated switch to color change to any of the 3 tones it has, comes with box joint for easy and neatly wiring, this light is also dimmable, insulated contact safe, airtight, no housing required, can be installed on bathrooms or wet areas. This light is easily installed and it’s recommend to select the light desired before installed on the ceiling. Excellent choice to choose.

Install was easy and they finished great ?
I started instilling the new light and two of the spring clips broke on two fixtures . now I can't install two fixture I need them replaced.
