This was an excellent choice to replace a nonworking water radiator in my kitchen near the back door. I can use only the light for ambiance or dial up the heat to remove a chill. A custom woodworker made the little mesh door on either side for a finished look. I couldn’t be happier.

It’s working perfectly and is exactly what we wanted. We replaced a 9 year old unit that had begun to thump and couldn’t be repaired. This new unit was about an inch shorter so we shimmed it with a leftover plank from another project and it was a snap to securely install. We are very happy.

Honestly, I love this little fireplace. My new, 130 year old house has non-working but beautiful fireplaces everywhere. I considered buying one of the expensive holographic electric fireplaces, and still may, but in the short run settled for 2 of this model. The colorful flame burns 247 making my bedroom cozy warm so I don’t have to heat the whole house while I sleep. It’s fairly quiet, pretty, and just very handy. Well worth the money.
