Not suitable for litter, throwing away cat litter
It is a small, very very small little trashcan, but it is not solid. It does not have a solid metal bottom. It has a vented plastic bottom with a plastic pull out insert all of that plastic hold onto the cat poop smell and allows a smell to escape the trashcan. It should be a solid metal trashcan with a metal liner so that it does not hold onto cat smell. Very disappointed not worth sending back with all the hassle. Being a third-party from Walmart.
