This is such small and perfect for sanitary items or just toilet paper etc. it’s a little bigger than my hand but it’s nice and sturdy. I have to find small bags for it but for now I use the Trader Joe’s compostable vegetable bags.

Cute but too tiny

I needed 4 small wastebasket with lid for my bathrooms. There aren’t many modern looking options. This checks most boxes, except that is too tiny; it could use extra 2” width and height. But I’m happy with my purchase.

Love it - perfect size for a bathroom. It tucks discreetly next to the toilet. I do wish it was a bit heavier (moves when you step on the lever to open the lid), but it was a great buy.

These break easily, I have had to replace 1 already and my current one is now broken. There is a little plastic piece that enables the step to open motion and it’s very fragile. Love the basket but that is a design flaw that needs improvement.

Never thought I would find such a cute and compact trash can to fit in such a small space. Did not see anything like it anywhere else. It opens widely and accepts a decent amount of trash.

Perfect little trashcan

Love the clean lines and unique shape. It fits into our small spare bathroom perfectly. It’s very easy to use and virtually silent when opening and closing with the step lever. Highly recommend.

Perfect Small Trash Can

Needed a small and narrow trash can for my tiny powder room that was stylish. It has an interior liner ring to hold a disposable bag. This functions perfectly and looks great!

Exactly as pictured and functional. I bought it because I couldn’t find anything else narrow enough for my space. Product is a little “lightweight” but the size and shape Trump that.

Too lightweight

While I really like the sleek design of this trash can it’s simply too flimsy in the functionality department. It needs to be weighted so it doesn’t move or slide around when stepping to open it.

Love the design. It’s smaller and less weighted than I imagined, so it wobbles/tips if you step on it. I moved it to the laundry on a shelf to collect dryer lint.

It's just ok

The Yamazaki Mini Step Bathroom Trash Can design is great. The trash can alone from that is very tiny and more useful for a toddler bathroom. I will return because it does not work for me.

Good! Not great.

Really like it. Perfect little can for a smaller bathroom. Wish it was a little heavier duty so when you step on it the whole can doesn’t slide around. Soft close lid would be a plus too. Still happy with it.

This trash can is really small, so be sure the size is what you want. It’s about half the size of a regular bathroom waste paper basket. Also, it has a very high gloss that clashes with a matte look. Otherwise, it’s a good, functional, modern trash can.

Im super happy with this even though my husband laughed at how small it is. Goodbye, dated, oversized, bulky bathroom trashcans with lids that the dog can easily figure out! A little small

These are very small. When it says mini, it’s mini. Good for a guest bathroom. It looks like one good push on the pedal will flip it over. That’s not the case, but it is not a hearty piece of equipment. Shame on me, too, for buying another plastic item.

Sleek and slender

Sleek and slender! This minimal can is exactly what I was seeking for my guest bathroom. It functions smoothly (step open/close doesn’t feel wonky) and is handsomely understated. The rectangular design means you can squeeze it in the tightest spaces. I am very happy with its quality and admire its design.

love this little bin

I had a clunkier metal step can in my bathrooms that were a similar size and shape as this one, but they made an awful clang when the lid came down. This bin is tidy, sleek, and neat and the lid goes up and down perfectly and shuts quietly. Sometimes I use the foot pedal and sometimes I just life the lid by hand. I don't use a trash bag, just dump it out when it's full. It's small but there's plenty of space for a week's worth of bathroom trash.

Slim, but cheap

This product is slim, but made with cheap plastic. I don’t expect it to last long. It looks. Ice in the bathroom, tucked between the vanity and toilet but I don’t expect the foot pedal mechanism to last long. It should have been made with a stronger plastic, in my opinion.
