The grill was great for our 4th of July BBQ. I like the easy way you can pack and store it. However cooking hotdogs was tricky since they fall through the grate and easily fall off.

Grill rack kept falling in charcoal when attempting to flip burgers. Rack too close to charcoal .

Cheap, sharp, and nonfunctional

Great concept, POOR execution. I was excited to receive this grill, as it takes up verry little room packed up and has a nice size grilling area. When opened however, it was very cheaply made and the tolerance was way off, resulting in the grill gratw falling right through the frame. The corners of the grill body are very sharp and the bag is of low quality. It was difficult to get the folded grill back in the bag and it would absolutely ruin the bag in just a few uses, I'm sure. Did not get a chance to actually grill on this thing becaise it wasn't functional. Returned for refund. Don't waste your money.

Nice, compact enough for small vehicles

Compact and easy to take on a trip in a car. Check ahead for fire restrictions where you vacation. Sometimes you can use it if they allow charcoal grills.

I love this grI'll!!! it was so easy to set up, about 3 mins. My only complaint about this grill is that it cooks too fast and you have to keep constant watch that's why I didn't give it five stars.

Excellent purchase

Perfect size for camping or the occasional barbeque. Easy to put together and loved the carrying case. Well constructed. Just what were needing.

WE LOVE OUR X-GRILL

I had to wait a month use the x-grill. I was so excited to get it and I felt so much joy when I set it up. My son came in and saw it, it made him happy also, so i gave it to him as a belated birthday present and he was so overjoyed to get it. I then felt sad and ordered another for myself and when it came I grilled and it was so much fun! I also got the 18 piece tool set to give as a Christmas present and it looks fun. THIS IS GREAT FUN! Thank you.

X-Grill. Very convenient but has its cons

Very good design as far as being compact. Folds flat for easy in A small spot in outside kitchen on my travel trailer. Grill in ready to use position if pretty stable. Fairly easy to clean to put back in storage bag. Down side for me is that food cooks quickly since the coals are right there at the grill and there is no lid do damper the heat. So doing chicken that needs more cook time, be careful. If not watched closely, it will be burnt on the outside and raw inside unless you keep turning vigilantly. No lid eliminates the oven effect that my kettle type grill offers. For burgers, steaks or hot dogs, not an issue as far as over cooking. For hot dogs, be careful as rolling dogs that swell when cooking will roll right off. Overall quality, good for the price. Price is good as well. $54 at the time of purchase through Camping World. I would and have already recommended this to a friend.

Excellent Grill

This grill is very convenient. You can bring it to any place you want. Meanwhile, the grill works very well and makes the bbq very delicious. Highly recommended.

Gift for my Son

My son moved to HUngary a couple years ago and was missing having a grill. This was perfect! There are so many lakes in Hungary and they go to one almost every weekend.

Great features

I bought this for start of summer grilling. Loved it. It is very compact, easy to use without occupying space. Easy to carry anywhere.

A great little grill

It’s small, but very portable.We have a very small city lot, almost no storage so this is great for Two. We have been using it at least weekly all summer- we have barely missed going out. We can’t wait to take it on vacation... someday...

Nice for a couple uses

I loved this grill the first few uses. Now, despite meticulous maintenance, the grate falls into the coals most of the time. This is very inconvenient when your dinner gets covered in ash.

I don't expect this to last more than a few uses.

This barbecue was very easy to set up and convenient to use. I used it for the first time at the beach this week. All was good as far as cooking, however, the insert you line the grill with basically melted and the black sides of the grill discolored. It appears that the metal used is very flimsy. Would be the perfect little grill if the metal used was more heat resistant or something.

Highly recommend the X-grill

Easy to set up, easy to use. Doesn't use a lot of charcoal. Very easy to clean and the best part of all, it is compact. This product performs exactly as it is described online. Highly recommend!! The only challenge was that the company doesn't ship this product directly to Canada.

This is by far an excellent portable fire pit. Sorry we don't use this for BBQs. My family and I go camping often, and we needed something compact. Worth the price.

So convenient

I bought this grill a couple of years ago to carry around with me in the trunk of my car for those days when you are driving around and find that spot where you think "this is a great spot for a picnic with a friend" The fact that it folds flat and has its own carrying case is a plus and space saving and then the size of the grill is perfect to cook a great meal for 2 to four people. Unfortunately it started to warp for whatever reason but I did get a great amount of use and would recommend this item to anyone looking for portable grill.

Sleek design and functional!

My husband and I purchased the X grill for a recent camping trip. We were looking for a compact grill, and this is the most compact we've seen. At first we were skeptical because of the sleek design. Will it really stand up to a Weber type grill performance? It did! It's simple, and really all you need for a small picnic or camping. It folds back nicely, and is easy to carry.

Great grill for traveling

We had a similiar grill that was stolen. I then bought this one. I like this one better as it is sturdier. The whole concept of the grill is basic but it works quite well. I have folded the rack part and then rested it on baked potatoes to grill meat closer to the coals. The rack is folded into 3 parts and is not attached all that well but outside of that is is quite sturdy. It folds very compactly and with a foldable chimney,purchased separately elswhere, we do not take up much room in our vehicle for grilling equipment.

love it

I did not use it yet. I am looking to use it on July Independence day. we are going camping and there is no fair ring on ground so I have to have mine or rent it from store. This one is comfortable to carry, has carry on bag, folding in good size very convenient to store. Looks good, hope will work well. Anyway it is what I was looking for. The price is great. I almost bought from campmore, very expensive, bulky, and heavy to carry on. This one I can take on beach and every where I need.
