Overall a good product however there does seem to be quality control issues from BORA but the top is still useable

Bora centipede

This table is a great light weight table for woodworking. It becomes a snap after a few set ups. The enclosed fixtures work well for stops. The base is easy to expand. The brackets to hold the 2 x 4's work well for laying sheets of plywood to cut with a track saw.

Functional

Functional and easy to setup, handle be better at other end and lock to keep it from opening would make it better.

Great pick up service in store!

It is decent for work that does not require high precision. Out of the box the hinges were not aligned so the two sides were not square to each other. Also the holes are neither 3/4” nor 20mn somewhere in between so you may need to tweak any readily available bench dogs to make them fit snugly.

Good idea, but poor execution and quality

The top I received did not align on both sides at the hinged seam. The one side is .053" higher and the other side is .035" higher at the hinge. As a result, the top is not flat if you lay a board across the hinged area. The board will rock in the center. I contacted Bora and they side this misalignment is a rare occurrence. At this time (3/1/24), they will be sending me a replacement when they are available in late March. The customer service from Bora has been good.

Awesome product & customer service from Bora

I've ordered a few of tables. They are well made - probably better than if I were to just make something similar myself. In one of my orders, there was a missing piece so I had to email Bora/Affinity to see if they could send me a replacement. They emailed back within the same business day and had it shipped out. Amazing customer service.

hold down

i like the board. i thought that there should be additional attachment . I purchased the cennapeed knowing that i would have to order the board but should have come with extra clips for hold down.

Have not had the time to use the workbench top. Unpacked set it all up to check out. No damage in shipping. Everything was in good shape. Will be working in shop once we get past Thanksgiving. Will have more say......

I’d been wanting to acquire a Bora centipede system for some time, primarily to break down sheet stock. My initial plan was to use my own material for a top but ended up getting one of these for the 2’ x 4’ centipede. It worked so well I bought two more to cover the 4’ x4’ centipede.

Piece of junk!

This doesn't work as advertised. The tops are a nightmare to align and attach to the stand. The screw-in pins would not even turn in most of the key holes. You need to pry, hammer and force the pins in order to insert them deep enough to hold, only to discover that the pins are off-center and wobbly. After fighting this for well over an hour there were still gaps between the tops, and they shifted and loosened with the slightest pressure. Going back for a refund.

20 mm hole top for the centipede allows me to use all of my Festool accessories on the table providing additional functionality.

I got a Bora Centipede worktable. After a consideration of using a sheet of plywood or similar material as a surface, I opted for the the Centipede worktop. I’ve had a Festool MFT for years and I like the convenience of the dog holes. I’ll put them to good use with the Bora products.

I used it once, and it broke right away. It is constructed of MDF. One corner snapped off, making it useless. I would not recommend this product. I will find out if they support this product and leave reviews accordingly.
