Adjustable Light Control

This is on a timer for lighting when I come home from work. I found the perfect dimmable setting and it will not be adjusted as the light level setting is perfect.

Worked well but adds a few inches to the height of the bulb . Looks very odd with Bulb sticking out top of the lamp shade

unfortunately, the item did not meet my expectations. The item was too wide. I was not able to use it as it interfered with the harp.

The lamp harps for several lamps could NOT accommodate this...

The lamp harps for several lamps could NOT accommodate this devise. We purchased 2 and can only use one -- and for that one, it is challenging to reach under the shade to find the dimmer switch. Disappointed.

Works as intended

Seems to work as intended. The only issue is it requires a standard bulb which is hard to find these days.

Does a good job for making a room-size night light.

I'm using this dimmer to regulate a low-wattage incandescent nightlight in my aviary. It does a good job. I had hoped to se an LED bulb but could not find one with a low enough initial luminosity, which is understandable as LED bulbs are supposed to offer much better luminosity for a lower power consumption.

Nice and useful gadget.

Very nice gadget. Made an old standing lamp dimmable. Now I am able to sit next to lamp and not be blinded by the bright lamp and still keep some light so it is not so dark in the room.

The size of the dimmer does not allow it to be used in an upright lamp. It is too wide to fit inside the lampshade frame.

The product worked okay. I've had it over a month now. I expected and hoped it would be a bit more sensitive, not simply shutting off abruptly as I turned it slowly, aiming for the dimmest setting in the range. And I would've preferred a dial that was easier to grip with my fingers. Other than that, it's quite serviceable. The ones I grew up with seemed easier to use, but they're a thing of the past; the 1970's are over. This one will suffice.

It's a good enough device, works like it should but it's just a bit tight when turning the dial.
