[Rewarded Review] Feature packed GFCI

At first glance this is no different than any other GFCI you've come across but upon closer review there's a few extra features I'm happy to see. Aside for the standard back or side wiring terminal options and OK indicator lamp there's a very neat "nightlight" feature built into the "TEST" button which is connected to a photo sensor. The nightlight kicks on when the room is dark and off when the lights are on. Excellent for a bathroom, especially a kid's bathroom, or a dark kitchen/laundry room area. Rated at 20 amps and comes with a standard plastic plate cover.

I wasn't familiar with ELEGRP so I did some research: "ELEGRP operates in more than 40 countries and regions including China, North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and India. We have set up storage and distribution centers and customer service centers in China and North America" per their website. The items arrived as in the first picture. Overall packaging was good. The products are UL approved, had accompanying plate and screws and overall had a solid feel. I will be comfortable using ELEGRP products.

[Rewarded Review] Well designed GFCI protection with good nite-lite

Standard size and terminal positions. Easy installation. Tests correctly. Can use 20-A plugs like for window A/C units (my application). "Nite-lite" starts to turn on when there's still good light (to avoid "darkened" period where it's harder to see). Lots of light, so don't install them where they can shine in your face as you try to sleep. Good product.

[Rewarded Review] An excellent choice for GFCI protection

The ELEGRP 20amp tamper resistant GFCI duplex receptacle is manufactured in China. Prior to working on any electrical devices, it is imperative you ensure that the circuit breaker is switched off and tested. The GFCI is compatible with both 14-12 AWG on a 125v 20 amp circuit. The receptacle features both stab-in and screw connectors. It is essential to tighten the screw to secure the wire being inserted into the stab-in. The LED indicator light will turn green when the device has power. The receptacle also includes a bright white LED night light which is controlled by a photosensitive sensor. The box contains a receptacle face plate and GFCI sticker, which should be a the face plate for easier identification.

[Rewarded Review] Great tamper proof outlet

I got these for my bathroom. Pretty standard 20 amp gfi outlet. This one has the tamper proof which just means you have to insert a plug so that both slots engage and release the safety mechanism. In other words if a kid tried to unsert his finger or someone tried to insert a paper clip or something similar into just one slot, they would not be able to. There is a shield that only allows something like a plug to be inserted into the two slots simultaneously. Pretty standard installation.

[Rewarded Review] Must Have in Every Home

I got a 2-pack of these GFCI outlets to replace some aging ones in my home. After 15-20 years they tend to weaken and trip occasionally without any apparent reason. This 2-pack is just what I was looking for because they are rated for 125V, 20A and perfect for my needs. I like the fact that they also have a convenient, built in, night light feature in addition to the small green light that indicates power is ON and working normally.

[Rewarded Review] Quality GFCI outlets

These are quality outlets with a nice design. Like most GFCI outlets, they come with everything you need, including the face plate and stickers. These made a nice upgrade to the original GFCI outlets that were installed when the house was built in 1995. It also has a light in the center, almost acting as a small night light. We are very happy with these.

The GFCI outlets were easy to install, the instructions clear. The white color works well with my walls and the other outlets. I like that the device has a small green LED to indicate the power is on.

[Rewarded Review] 20 AMP GFCI Outlets with a Night Light

The ELEGRP Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) should be used in locations where moisture is present to shut down circuit if a fault, either moisture or unintended ground is detected. These outlets come with all needed hardware to install and includes a small night light which will shut off id the circuit is tripped. Make sure the circuit you are installing it in has been shut off at your main control panel and if you do not have the experience to install these, I highly recommend you contact a licensed electrician.

[Rewarded Review] Great GFCI that's Easy to Install

Like most 20amp GFCI outlets, these are slightly larger in size and could use a medium to large outlet box. These outlets are tamper resistant, which is required by code in pretty much all of U.S. residential purposes. Having installed dozens of outlets, I appreciate that the ground wire terminal is one where you stick the bare copper wire in directly, instead of having to pigtail it around a green screw. This saves time installing the outlet, and makes for a cleaner install. I would recommend these for your 20amp circuit areas that need GFCI protection. In my case, we used these in our Kitchen, Laundry, and several other places.
