Very hi tech switch. Works just fine. Not sure why I can power it through a GFI.

Customer Service was exceptional

Very happy with purchase. Switch allows for the fan, light and night light to be controlled with auto humidity and timer options. This online purchase arrived in the retail shelf packaging with a single clear tape wrapped around it. It was crumpled and could have (but was not) damaged. It was tossed loosely into a larger box with several other heavy unrelated orders. The switch works as expected. I installed it along two other new toggle switches. I would like to include pictures here but I don't see an option to do so.

Returned. The second fan/light came late so I did not need the second switch.

Good but not great

I hired an electrician to install this and I showed him the wiring diagram provided by the manufacturer. He assumed that this was a "smart" switch. He provided power to the switch and he assumed that the switch would split out the power to the 3 functions. It does not. He had to run a 14/2 and a 14/3 wire to the switch so each function on the switch can run independently. Each switch legs needs its own power. I hope this knowledge makes it easier for others.

Bought this switch to go with the fan I ordered. I was super frustrated because didn't know I needed the switch to really use the fan. Electricians cut *6* holes in my walls to run new wiring. This little fan project cost me a ton of money and I'm not too happy about it. I really wish there had been better disclosure on the fan/switch combo so I would have been more informed about what this little project would entail ($$$).

This Akicon humidity switch turns on the fan in a bathroom automatically when humidity is detected. It also has 2 separate switches for other lights (either built-in to the fan or not). Each light switch can control an LED light with up to 50W. There are two dials to set the minimum humidity for turning it on and for how long the fan should run.

[Rewarded Review] Easy to install

Great accessory for any bathroom that has a shower or one that gathers moisture. Easy to install and pretty simple. Does not have a ground connection which I thought was weird. This does need the white neutral wire in order to work. I have a light fan combo so I connected all 4 wires together so they both turn on at the same time. This can be used as a manual switch or you can set the humidity and the time.

This sensor switch can also control the light and night light if your fan has those features but I only hoped that it would be more automated and reliably vent while showering.

[Rewarded Review] Super capable yet stylish bath fan switch

This is by far, the most capable bath fan/light switch we've ever installed. We really like the compact multi-function capabilities of this switch, but, like several Akicon fixtures and devices, it's a very stylish looking device at the same time. The ability to automatically turn on and off the bath fan is what initially interested us, but when we saw how flexible those setting were, with multiple humidity setting and timer setting, that was really cool. The instructions were extremely light and omitted many of the coolest features of this unit. Wiring was a breeze, however, it does need a neutral which not every light switch box may have. Fortunately, we had a neutral in our box. All the connections use wire nuts, which are supplied, but in a tight box, this can be a challenge. Our box was a deep box, which made wiring easy. We had two switches in our box, one for the light and the other for the fan. Since this device controls them both in one gang, we installed a night light in the second gang and use the switches night light wire to control it. That proved to be very cool as now, we really like the night as well. The humidity setting control and timer settings are accessed via a small removable panel, which we found easiest to remove with the wall plate removed. The controls are well marked and intuitive, which is good since the instructions supplied with our unit were totally silent on both their location and function. The humidity control indicates that its units are in %, but the marked ranges run from 1 to 5 which apparently translate to 50% to 90% in 10% increments. There is also an Off position. The unit's enclosure is totally plastic, so no need for a ground. Beside the lightweight instructions, the only thing we really would have liked is backlit switches. In the dark it's pretty much guess work to get the right switch for the right function for anyone unfamiliar with it. The only color we've seen this unit available in is white.

You no longer have to worry about leaving the fan on. It has different timer settings, so you are able to choose when it automatically shuts off. It is pretty easy to install and has easy to follow instructions. It also comes with a screw-less face plate. The wall plate is the same color as the switch. It clips on to the switch with ease. All three buttons are easy to push.

[Rewarded Review] The perfect upgrade for the bathroom

This is an excellent upgrade or inclusion on new construction for a bathroom. We put ours in and it automatically starts the exhaust fan when the room fogs up. Perfect for families with teenagers and children. Pretty easy install, just like changing a light switch but with two sets of connections, one for the exhaust and one for the light. Includes a cover plate, but as we had a double plate it also fits decora plates.

Akicon humidity switch for bathrooms that can be hooked up to an exhaust fan, 2 lights and a night light .This switch controls 3 functions has a 5 wire hook up with instructions and where each wires need to be hooked up printed on the back of this switch. You will able to adjust the humidity in the room as there are adjustments made once you get your finger nails under top panel and lift it off to set you run time on your exhaust fan and the humidity dial to come on There are 5 settings to set the humidity level ( 90%, 80%, 70%, 60%, 50%.) Also the time that you want your fan to run ( 15 mins, 30 mins, 45 mins, 60 mins. ) to suit specific ventilation needs of the room. When your all done snap the plastic cover plate back on. You can also by pass your humidity sensor then manually turn your exhaust fan on and off by hand. You also get a face plate with no screw holes, it merely snaps in place and there is no need for screws. you will get mounting screws for the switch and 5 wire nuts plus instructions. If you have a shallow box it's going to be a very tight fit with all the wires in there plus the wire nuts. I am only using this switch as a humidity switch down under my side porch in the storage room . I installed a small 4 inch fan through the wall. ( See photo ) It's gets quite humid in there in the summer. and this will help the humidity level as I set my humidity switch to 60%. This switch can be used in the bathroom, laundry room, basement ,storage room, etc, to have a switch as this hooked up to an exhaust fan to take moisture out of the air to prevent mold and mildew accumulation plus the 2 light hook up if needed . I didn't need all wires. Just so you know you can control just the humidity in the bathroom and just tape up the wires you don't need as I did. Great humidity/light switch all in one unit. I give it 4 stars for lack of information on the directions as a schematic could have been more helpful. But I figured it out. This switch comes with a full 3 year warranty. I like it , you will too.

[Rewarded Review] Humidity sensor bathroom fan switch

This switch is easily installed by following the instructions for wiring it into your system. Once wired up, the switch is installed just like any other switch. I replaced an old timer switch with this switch and it worked perfectly. Once you set the switch, the fan will turn on once it senses moisture and then turn off once moisture is removed. You can set it to stay on for a set time as well.
