[Rewarded Review] GFCI outlets to protect your loved ones

My garage had two old outlets that were broken and damaged. In addition, they were not GFCI protected and I wanted to change that. I was happy to find this two pack of GFCI outlets available from the Home Depot. I had some requirements that I knew I needed in my garage outlets. I wanted them to be safe and UL rated. I also wanted tamper proof and damp rated devices to meet safety codes. These outlets checked all the boxes. When I removed my old outlets and prepared my wires for the new outlets I was happy to see that these GFCI outlets were capable of back wiring. No need to struggle making a wire loop and securing it under the screw. I made up my connections nice and easy, and mounted the outlets to the box. Most devices do not come with cover plates. These do. Another pleasant surprise. After restoring power, I tested the outlets for polarity and checked for proper GFI protection. Everything was perfect. I'm happy to have new outlets that will keep my family safe. Highly recommend.

[Rewarded Review] Quality GFCI

I need to install a gfci that’s weather resistant for screened in porch. This is exactly what I need. Not too bulky like some others I’ve used in the past and will allow for wire insertion into outlet; which is super easy. Just member to have your line and load in the proper position and ground wire connected. I will purchase these in the future and recommend them.

[Rewarded Review] Quality oulets

These GFCI outlets are a really great quality. I needed some updated ones for outside. The first one is for my camera and is doing its job well!! I also needed a new one for the pool pump/filter. I bought a new enclosure for it to keep it safe from the elements. As with most outlets, these were easy to install. It took less than 30 minutes to install both.

[Rewarded Review] Super simple install.

I truly like these “ELEGRP” GFCI 15 Amps, 125 Volt Outlet. First off this outlet comes with everything you need to install or replace a non GFCI outlet. This outlet is tamper resistant, and is also Water resistant. What I really like about this outlet is the fact that it is a Fifteen amp outlet and it will allow you to use 14 Gauge wire or 12 Gauge wire. These Outlets are super easy to wire up as you don’t have to make a “Electrican’s Hook to terminate the wire to the outlet. There are Holes provided in the back to inset the stripped wire end into and then you simply tighten the screws down, super simple and quick, the same follows for the gound termination. This Outlet also has a self test feature, and a miswire Proof function to provide safety as it will not function if you wire up the “Line to the “Load Terminals. This outlet also has a green indicator light to tell you when it is functioning properly. So if you looking for a heavy duty GFCI that is super simple to install and is well designed this is the Outlet for you.

[Rewarded Review] New brand of GFCI

This is a new brand to me ELEGRP. The GFCI has a small UL listed label. It comes complete with a faceplate and mounting screws (4), printed instructions in English, Spanish, and French, and GFCI labels for down stream protected outlets. It is listed as tamper and weather resistant.

[Rewarded Review] Very good quality GFCI - its water resistant too

I just installed two of these GFCI's in my bathrooms and they're working great. Used tester to test their tripping and it was within range. Build quality is also good, screw heads did not damage from slip of screwdriver, manufacturer used quality material. Its also WR rated, I'm guessing it can be installed outside and able to handle weather beating.

[Rewarded Review] It does what it should do

Personally I think the material and quality is good and better than the outlet came with my house. It is weather resistant and tamper resistant which is good and prevents kids insert any metal things into it and get shocked. The installation is as simple as any other outlet. I installed it as the first outlet of the basement outlet power line and all the rest are gfci protected. It provides a lot of stickers and I can mark other normal outlets as gfci protected

[Rewarded Review] Quality Tamper & Weather Resistant GFCI Outlet

This ELEGRP GFCI outlet installed easily, replacing one that had failed in our basement. The design has holes in the back that tighten the wires using the side screws (they are not “backstab” holes). It has a modern design, with the tamper resistant plastic “flaps” in each slot. So far, it seems to accept 2- and 3-prong plugs without difficulty, unlike other tamper resistant outlets I have installed. The light glows green when providing power; there is no light on this outlet when tripped.

[Rewarded Review] 2-Pack of Weather Resistant, Tamper Resistant 15amp GFCI Outlets

This is a great 2-pack of 15 amp GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) outlet. The built in tamper resistant 'shutters' are great for indoor applications, but I was particularly pleased to also have the weather-resistant rating. I immediately installed this in one of my outdoor weather resistant boxes. Now I have two levels of weather barrier and the benefit of GFCI protection, which I think is required by code for my outside application. The green indicator light is also handy so I know when my outdoor circuit has power vs. having tripped either the GFCI outlet or back at the breaker. This product is made and sold under the ELEGRP brand and per the packaging manufactured in China.

[Rewarded Review] Nice tamper and weather resistant GFCI

Well one of the GFCI plugs on my back patio stopped working. After opening up the box it looked like the back stabbed in neutral wire had just popped out, but it was old and crusty from being outside and not weather or tamper resistant so I opted to replace it. After confirming it was on a 15 amp circuit, I got the 15 amp white ELEGRP tamper and weather resistent GFCI plug. It appears to be a solid unit. It has the back fed wire connections that screw down, including the neutral wire which is nice. You don’t have to do any wire bending to secure the wire around screw terminals. Like most GFCI outlets, one end is for line and one end is load. Make sure you plug the hot wire into the line end. It comes with a wall plate but I didn’t need since my outdoor location uses a box. I like that the outlet has a green status light when not tripped to tell you the outlet is live. I also think the price is really good for a two pack.
