Grohe parts are the best! This is not a "pressure balance value", it's the trim for a pressure balance valve. The valve is sold separately.

Grohe has always produced quality products including this Concetto trim. The faceplate, handle, and sleeve are all metal. The handle is allowed to be tightened down hard so it doesn't seem loose. Easy temperature adjustments. Grohe valves are solid and well made.

Grohe is well known European brand. You cannot go wrong with them. Their quality is amazing and as an interior designer and remodeler I have never had issues with any plumbing from Grohe. This valve trim has very sleek and modern look and pairs great with contemporary design. Highly recommend.

Beautiful addition to my bathroom renovation

It’s a perfect match to the Grohe RetroFit shower system I bought. My renovated bathroom looks shining and modern. But the contractor who installed it did complain that it takes more time than other popular brands (Delta, Kohler, etc.). And the trim only works with Grohe rough in valve. You can’t just put it on your existing rough in valve.

Non-standard attachment

Beautiful handle, but the attachment wasn't standard. I had to get additional parts to make it work.
