Horrible Faucet

In 2016 our builder installed Connelly sink, tub and shower fixtures. By 2020, the faucets seized up and were replaced. The same issue occurred again in 2023. Efforts to send Toto the faucets to show issue were never met with a response. Never buy Toto.

The faucet looks nice and is working fine now. I bought it based on careful review of all specs; wanted something low lead compliant and with all brass construction.

After realizing we were 2 faucets short for a home build, we were desperate to find a stylish alternative to the Restoration Hardware "Dillion" line of faucets. We had already purchased a set for the other bathrooms while they were on sale. Restoration Hardware has gotten stupid expensive on their hardware. We are building a craftsman style home, so the faucets needed to have a classic look and feel. We purchased the polished nickel Connelly widespread and are completely happy with them. In my opinion, I wish we had found these before we had purchased the Restoration Hardware faucets. These are not inexpensive, but dollar for dollar, the Toto faucets are a lot better quality for the price. The RH faucets are difficult to set to the correct height for the handles to be placed properly. The Toto were much easier to set to the proper height. Both are made in China, but the Toto seems better engineered by thoughtful installation considerations. Toto also includes a handy little plastic turnkey to remove the strainer for cleaning. Nice touch. I highly recommend the Toto.
