Failing after only 8 months

Mattress is only 8 months old and it is already failing. One side is leaning out and slanted, and there are significant valleys/divots and a high spot in the middle, I’m only 145 lbs. The mattress support is completely gone and it’s like sleeping on a board in a hole. We have a mattress that is 14 years old that is more comfortable and in better shape than this new one. Pass on this and get a different brand and better quality mattress. We are already shopping around for a new one.

Not at ALL Soft, very firm

1 Star due to we thought medium firm pillowtop would be okay, however it is really hard, no give or movement. Our bodies hurt when we wake up. We feel like we are in our 80’s when we wake and we are half that. No softness. I can’t imagine what firm or ultra firm are like. We bought a thick mattress pad and it is still the same.On a positive note a 5 star to Customer service, we are returning and the plush pillowtop was suggested. We are waiting 2 weeks. I really hope it is soft. We get it in two more days!!

Beautyrest commitment - Poppycock!

"10-year warranty proudly backs the Beautyrest commitment to quality, Beautyrest products are tested and retested at our Atlanta research facility to ensure premium performance and durability."Yea right! 26 months later edge support collapsed. As for durability just isn't in this brand mattress. Y'all do not understand definition of "commitment to quality." Apparently failed to this this product because it's durability receives a D rated.

still comfy after all these years

We bought this exact mattress in king size about 6 years ago and it's still super comfortable. Our other bedroom has a fairly new Sealy queen mattress on a brand-new platform bed and it is so uncomfortable that I'm on here now to replace it. This Beauty Rest mattress has never given us backaches. It's just so comfortable and soft, yet it's supportive. We did put a four-inch mattress topper on it about a year ago because we love that soft, lofty feel and this mattress continues to feel great. Use a good box spring and you'll be very happy. After this many years, I am so pleased to see that they still sell this mattress. Its popularity has to be because it's so soft, comfortable and durable. That should tell you something. Six years in and I'm here to buy another one in queen size for our other bedroom. We love it. Less

Like A Rock.

This is the most firm mattress I have ever slept on. That might be a good thing, except this is sold as a plush mattress. If we were taken on a tour of the beautyrest factory, I would wager that every mattress is a Firm, they just put Plush on a few of them, maybe by accident.I actually regret trading my 20 some year old mattress for this thing. I have slept on softer floors. Overall, i am not happy with this mattress. It hurts my hips when I sleep on my back, and it hurts my shoulders when I sleep on my side, when I am actually able to fall asleep on it.If this were sold as a firm mattress it would probably be fine, but it is in fact more firm than a firm mattress, it is solid. This thing should be called the Silverado, because it is like a Rock.If you are looking for a mattress that reminds you of sleeping on concrete, then this is the one for you. Less

horrible dip

Never purchase this mattress. Bought ultra firm and it started dipping within a month. Kept turning it but it never helped. Of course the warranty says must be dip of 1 1/2” or more but it dips about 1 1/8”. Just enough to hurt my back every morning wheni get up. Very high crown in middle of bed. When your paying over a thousand dollars and getting junk like this its really bad. This is truly a scam mattress. Oh im 6’ and 200 lbs and wife 5’ 135 lbs way under specs for this bed. Warranty is worthless.Home depot needs to stop selling this trash. I spend thousands a year from them very dissatisfied .

2 thumbs up!

From placing the order on overstock.com to the delivery of the mattresses had been a smooth and pleasant process, all via online/text. Delivery is free with "white-glove"' service! Bonus! (For other websites, you need to pay extra for the "white-glove" service.) I ordered a long-thought-out decision of 2 sets of the twin XL (which exacts the size of a King size mattress) to be placed side by side in my bedroom to reduce/eradicate any movements between my husband and me. The result is great! The bed is firm, just like I wanted and imagined it to be. It was super luxurious! It took 2 weeks for the delivery during the New Year but it is worth it! I have no more body aches and I sleep through the nights now. I do own this same brand Luxury Firm CAL King bed set bought 20 years ago. I notice the quality of the base box (bought 20 years ago) is of a better quality than this new one. The older quality is more stable and less wobbly. Overall, I am very happy and satisfied with the overall purchase & delivery service. Less

Love Beautyrest, but wanted double-sided mattress

It's been only 8 years since I last bought a Beautyrest pillow-top mattress-which I hated after the first couple months, because I couldn't flip it. Then my apartment complex developed a bed bug problem when 40 year old carpeting was removed upstairs and the critters streamed down the interior walls into our unit! Those were killed, and I used those special covers to kill anything inside my mattress...but I just couldn't take sleeping on a potentially infested mattress up to the usual 10 years. I was determined never to get a pillow top again, so I could flip my mattress and use it the usual lifespan. However, the same thing happened again. I made sure I ordered a tight top, but apparently the industry has undergone many changes I was unaware of, because nothing in the description of this one prepared me for the arrival of a one-sided mattress. I think they just assume customers will recognize by price-or wording- that we just know. My last two sided mattress cost about the same as this one from the same brand, so it didn't raise any red flags.Sad, because the 10-year lifespan is cut in half when all you can do is rotate your mattress. So, whatever money you think you are saving really doesn't exist. I see Serta still makes two-sided mattresses even if Macy's doesn't offer them. I will switch to that brand next time. Less
