Nice unit. Worked perfect. Install instructions scant on the slip pipe that goes into the drain in the wall, but I think it was just a standard 1 1/4" fitting that Depot has for under $3. It's not included. The chrome bezel that is included fits over the fitting perfectly.

Stylish and "clean"

These are very nice and stylish traps. They were installed under a floating vanity counter and leave a nice "clean" look, which is nice since they are visible.

Absolutely beautiful but not to code in my area

This bottle trap(ptrap) is just as beautiful as can be. I cried a little when my plumber told me its not to code. I told him this is the new style and in every magazine! He said, so what? Return it or I wont install it. Im getting a regular brass ptrap now. Make sure you check the building code in your area to see if you can even install this. I am so heartbroken that I cant.

The last one I had for 10 years, but it was looking bad and leaking for more than half the time I had it. This item is high quality and I think it is going to last and look lovely for a long time. The connections use standard O-rings that could be easily replaced if you have a leak down the line. Love the removable access port on the bottom of the trap (I had to take the entire thing apart on my last one). The escutcheon was too small for the hole in my wall, but that's not Kohler's fault. Just wish they would make an optional larger one because the other escutcheons you can find at Home Depot are of much inferior quality and don't look nearly as sleek and modern as the Kohler. I actually had to use 2 separate escutcheons to fully cover the whole in my wall, a box flange over a larger multi stepped shower escutcheon.

This is an item of superb quality and is made to last. The range of available finishes are unsurpassed. I would not hesitate to use this in any client setting..

Great contemporary p-trap

Polished nickel. Solidly made, as one would expect from Kohler. Low profile design works nicely in our very small powder room.

I bought the polished chrome P-Trap and it is a perfect addition to the American Standard Edgemere 25" Fireclay Console Bathroom Sink and Polished Chrome Console.

Like everything Kohler, this is a heavy, well made product. Always check w your building code people as this trap is not up to code in many states, but in GA, it is (thankfully). This is going on Kohler Purist sink that is wall mounted.

This is a very nice piece of hardware, much better than the unit it replaced! It's beautifully finished, fits in a very small space and has a removable cover on the bottom for cleaning. The tool to open it is included. It has been installed for over a month now and works great.

Kohler K-9033-BN Contemporary Round Brass Bottle P-Trap

Outstanding unit, a little pricey but in line with others in this class. Very attractive and looks great under the counter visible to the observer. Modern appeal, would use this unit again in a open visible drain situation, Easy install and service is a snap.

High Quality product from Kohler that Looks great in my Powder Room Renovation. Easy to install but keep in mind that you will probably need two additional items (both of which I picked up at my local Home Depot). I needed a metal compression nut to convert from the 1-1/4" Bottle trap exit pipe to the 1-1/2" Existing PVC threaded drain line in my wall. Be careful threading that one as it would be easy to cross thread. The escutcheon on the bottle trap covers it so it is not seen. I also needed an extension pipe from the sink drain outlet to go into the top of the bottle trap. Home Depot had longer ones with both ends threaded. I just used a pipe cutter (not a hacksaw as recommended) to cut it to length and it all went together easily. I like that this has a bottom that screws off for cleaning. I would be concerned long term about it getting gunked up with hair, but as this is in a Powder Room I think it will be fine. Would definitely use again!

The quality of this trap is outstanding. The lower part of the trap is slightly visible under our off-the-floor bathroom vanity as we knew it would be, and it is absolutely beautiful. The easy feature for unscrewing the bottom of the trap is an excellent feature for those rare occasions when someone drops a ring or something that needs to be retrieved. I would actually buy this particular trap even if it was going to be entirely hidden under a floor-standing vanity.

Kohler bottle trap

Product met my expectations. Easy to install, looks incredible and is quality built like most Kohler products. Perfect for my contemporary bath sink which has exposed plumbing. Arrived the day after I ordered it too.

[Rewarded Review] Doesn't meet code

Loved the look, but it had to be removed as it doesn't meet code in Minnesota and many other states from what I understand. Why wouldn't there be any mention of this in the description. Total waste of money. I want a refund.

Great selection of bathroom fixtures and accessories. I was able to find just about everything I needed to complete the bathroom project. I haven't had a single problem with my purchase. Everything I've ordered has been great quality and as expected.
