Beautiful when assembled - assembly issues

Beautfiul desk when put together. There were a couple of problems assembling: 1. the Drawer Bottoms were too wide, causing the drawer to not close, I had to take the drawer apart and cut down the bottom on my table saw to make it fit right. 2. The predrilled holes for the drawer fronts did not align with the drawer box correctly. I ended up just using some particle board screws and a bit of glue to attach the drawer fronts so they fit in the drawer opening.

I have received exactly what I saw from picture. It is cumbersome and a quality of material is an excellent. Only issue from assembly I had was due to inaccurate direction for drawer. When I follow the direction, a drawer installed too low to hit the bottom part .

Just got my Desk from 1stopbedroom. Who knew it was this easy to buy a new Desk? This Bestar Desk out of the Pro-Linea collection has the features, style and workmanship I was looking for, and 1stopbedroom had the right price.

On time shipping, tedious to build, nice product

Just bought the grey desk with white hutch. The shipping time was fine - purchased end of July and received 2 weeks into August. Shipping from Fast Freight was a nightmare. Bought this for an office and they do not bring products past the door. They actually gave my product to someone else that they shouldn't have. A driver had to return to pick it up and give it to me. Came in about 4 heavy boxes, which was fine. The set up of the desk was like IKEA furniture on steroids. It took approx. 6 hours to build between two people. On a scale of 1 to 10, I am about a 7 with this product. The desk is great, but the hutch door at the top gets stuck (you need to get a rubber hammer to get it to work properly) and the bottom drawers were incredibly promblematic to put in. The ball bearings literally fell off and we got the drawer jammed. They could have made the instructions to put together much easier to read and understand than what they product. Also, there are a couple parts you need to make your own holes... which is incredibly silly (except for attaching it to the desk as it depends what side you want to put it on). If I could purchase an option to have someone put it together for me, I would purchase again; however, Lowes doesn't have that option so I don't think I will be buying this again.
