It's Alright, Could Be Better

This bookshelf is fine. It's cute, it's functional, it serves its purpose for the most part. But it is a bit smaller than I'd thought, and it's not very sturdy. The screws loosen over time so it gets wobbly and I have to re-tighten everything. Annoying, but fine for a temporary basis.

Sturdy and pretty

A great looking sturdy bookcase. The instructions could be better and 1 of the nut was damaged and they didn’t include extra but we made do. The Paper sticker they gave you to cover the screw holes are cheap looking though and there wasn’t enough to cover all visible holes. For the price, it’s nice and better than just plain shelving. For now, using it as extra closet.

Purchased 2 one box good and 2nd box not so much

I purchased two of these bookshelves. The look is good and I am pleased in that regard. What I am not pleased with it is that one of the boxes had all the pieces and parts and the second box did not contain the correct pieces. So glad the purple box was opened and use first, otherwise, this would have been a completely different review and outcome. Basically had to make do with the second box because didn’t want to go through the hassle of the return.

Nice Decor Piece W Architectural Details

Bought 2 for just having excess storage for my online business. Extremely nice for my office. The instructions weren’t really helpful when helpful hints like dont screw all of the #2 braces tight until you put the cam hardware on. It’s difficult to put other pieces in place on each section if you tighten them ahead of time. Then go back and tighten all the screws once those are in place. Use the wall mount hardware to not tip over.

I was excited to purchase this item. Reviews were good. However, the box came banged up and ripped in places, exposing the product. This item was frustrating to assemble and you may consider 2 people assembly. The hardware all strips very easily while also tearing at surrounding particle wood during insertion .I'm most frustrated that the geometric designs came sticky. Annoying and gross. It has been hard to clean too. Another irritation is that parts of the exposing shelves and back support has chips and scratches. I almost think I should rate this experience a 2. I wanted to purchase an additional shelve to align them side by side but not at the same price I purchased this 1st one. It does come with color matching stickers to place over all the revealing hardware so now no one can see the stripping. The design is nice and looks good in my living room but I'd hoped to be more satisfied overall, and I'd hoped to be purchasing the additional. I took pictures of the flaws but have no option to upload them in this review.

Very easy to put together. It probably took an hour or hour and a half. It looks great and was packed really well. I don’t think it would hold extremely heavy items though as it’s not solid enough. It will however hold books and decorations such as picture frames. The price was reasonable and if you have scratches later on, you could probably slightly sand and paint it though it wouldn’t be an exact match due to the glossy laquer. I am really happy with my purchase!
