Don't Bother

We purchased this swing two years ago and within 3 months of use, the cloth was badly faded. When we inquired about purchasing replacement cushion/canopy, they stated they don’t offer this. Unbelievable. So the thousands of us who have need to replace, just end up throwing this metal in the landfill? Shame on them. Also- the seat is so uncomfortable with the metal bars, digging into you that you have to add a cushion underneath.

WONDERFUL

I really like this glider. the instructions were clear enough, we did not have any problem putting it together. it is a real neat swing. the only problem I have is to keep the afternoon sun out of my eyes, we have to keep the awning at a level setting. i am tall enough that i have to bend over to get out. Funny i love it.

Poor

Very poor craftsman ship, screw hole did not line up. We had to drill new holes to be able to put this together. The cushions are very thin, the bottom seat is not wide enough so is hurts after a while of sitting. If it wasn’t because my husband put it together and the box is too heavy for me to take back to Target I would return this junk. Not worth the $80!!

burst your seems

overall, it's a lightweight smaller garden/patio swing. it's not horrible but the cushions could be a bit more. i enjoyed it for the time it lasted. three weeks shy of 2 years from time of purchase and the seems on the material that makes you the seat just burst all at once. 😢

I am very satisfied with the porch swing, which is exactly what I hoped it would be. However, the product was not easy to put together. It took 2 people approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours to assemble the swing. Items were not the same number on the pieces as was in the instructions. Close numbers but not the same. Plus, it would have helped if there had been a clear direction as to what pieces need to be put together first, second, etc. A lot of guesswork, trial and error was involved.

I ordered this swing after much research on swings. This brand has excellent ratings consistent in quality, ease of understanding instructions and putting together the stability of the swing frame and the comfort and durablity of the materials. I received it in excellent condition within a couple days of placing my order. I have had some unexpected health and personal issues take place that have prevented me from being able to put it together. I am a 62 yr old woman and I will be putting it together by myself. I will definitely give an update once I have put it together and used it. I have always wanted a porch swing and I am on a fixed income the prices vary so much and the only place where I researched swings where I could afford them that had consistently excellent reviews was Best Choice Products! I will update soon.

BUYERS BEWARE, the fabric ripped at the seam on the seat cover. they will not sell any replacement parts !!!

The Thames Porch Swing with stand looks very nice on our deck and we really like it. It's very comfortable! The one downside however is that the seat is padded which we considered a plus when picking it out. However after it rains you cannot sit on it without getting your bottom wet until the padding dries. That did not cross our minds when buying it. Our prior swing did not have padded seating so we never really thought about it that way. We still really like the swing and the look but wish we had purchased one w/o padded seating. We are now looking for a swing cover that fits and will help eliminate that problem but it will require more time to cover and uncover the swing when we want to sit on it or after you sit in it and rain is in the forecast. That means cover it up again. If you are putting this swing in a covered area where it doesn't get rained on, I highly recommend it.
