Good quality for the price. Plenty big enough for the cushions I need stored. Eight seat cushions and a handful of throw pillows.

This deck box is sturdy and easily big enough for all my outdoor entertainment cushions. The slightly elevated floor of the base, helps keep things dry nicely….especially if the deck box is stored on a solid surface like a deck (as opposed to a grassy area). So far it has been watertight. The hydraulic lift to the cover, and the ability to lock this container makes this a must have!

I feel it's overpriced. I am still shocked at the sticker price for it. It was def an emotional puchase from stress and needing something to just get done. however, it is great!!. It looks really nice. I can fit all of my cushions from my small outdoor sectional inside. they are snug, but they fit! and they are dry!! However, it was advertised as "lockable" and showed a key hole. That is not the item I received. Mine does not lock, it has a latch only!!

we ordered this in white and it's awesome! we have had it for a few years now and it still opens and closes well - and we even leave it out all year in Canadian weather! very nice looking, tons of storage and great value!

Very nice for what I needed for. Would have like to have the optional shelf , but not available at check out and nowhere can I fine details of what would fit the unit.

This deck box is perfect for storing our patio cushions which is exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of room for a multitude of cushions and pillows.

Installation review

For the most part you can put 90% of this together with one person until you get to the part of assembling the top lid to the unit. I had help with someone holding the lid in place while I secured it to the unit with screws. Once all pieces are together the unit is very sturdy and spacious. We live in the Midwest so I’m looking forward to getting this outside to see how it handles in the elements. If there is an option, I’ll come back and share a review after the next winter season.

The description and pictures were kind of deceiving in that the shelf is optional. I thought that just meant you could take it out if needed, I didn’t realize it wasn’t included. It was also a pain to assemble. Once it was assembled it is a sturdy nice looking box. Just wish they were more clear in the description.

Directions would be helpful but no luck

We received this storage unit with ZERO NADA NO directions. Now help me understand how anyone can assemble something like this without directions.

It took two of us about an hour to assemble. Note - it is easier to assemble with a power drill. We made sure to make very small pilot holes anywhere a screw was to be installed to make it easier to get through the plastic. For any of the reviewers who complain of the sturdiness (or lack there of) of this box, IMO they didn’t properly seat the individual pieces into the slots of the adjoining parts. We have our box LOADED and there is no flexing of any of the joints.

Didn't realize when I ordered this that the shelf was "optional" and I did not have the option to order the shelf when I checked out - so never realized it was optional from the pictures I looked at! (Although the full description does state the shelf is optional - I just missed that) It will still serve its purpose for us and looks as pictured. Haven't had a chance to test it against the elements yet since we just received it.

Very Happy with the purchase of this particular Storage Shed! Especially its accessibility, top & 2 doors opening in front, to easily place our outdoors items, quite Roomy with a locking feature!! Can be wiped down or hosed because of the great material it is made. Able to place inside our outdoor screen room, matching the folding table & 4 chairs. Needed to put shed together, of course.

I have two of these for the outdoor furniture cushions. They are pretty good and keep out the elements. They have stored the cushions in rain and snow. So far the cushions have stayed dry. I would recommend.

Absolutely love this storage box on my back patio. It is taller than most, so it can’t function as a bench which is fine by me (would be horribly uncomfortable anyhow). The height does allow it to work as a great serving table bar on the patio. As for the storage inside, it fits a three seat (6 cushion) couch and 2 chairs (4 additional cushions) and 4 accent pillows. The seating set is extra deep seating (large cushions). Couldn’t be more pleased. It looks good, stores all the cushions, and keeps everything dry- what more can you ask for Throw in that Wayfair had the best price and it’s unbeatable- easily 6 stars if the option existed.

Going into my 2nd year with this storage shed. It fits all the cushions for my 10 piece sectional and keeps them nice and dry. Even left the cushions in it over the winter, on the deck and under a tarp with the sectional. No moisture at all! Love that it also doubles as a bar!

Bought 2 to keep pool cushions and supplies in. I love that there's a shelf inside. Opens from the top and the front. Secure lock mechanism. Holds a lot. We've had these for a couple seasons and everything seems to keep dry. Husband easily put together. Thank you.

Product came early driver left it at front door in the rain and box feel apart.

We love this storage shed. We use it for our upstairs patio to store cushions and other outdoor accessories year round here in Florida.

This is my second purchase of the Java outdoor storage shed. I have had the first shed for over two years and it has weathered hot summers, rain and cold snowy winters very well, and it has kept the contents dry and pest and rodent free. The second, which was recently received, was much easier to assemble than the first and arrived with a 9" x 4' wire shelf which the earlier one did not have. Since I only store outdoor cushions I did not install the shelf but it looked easy enough to install. Assembly took about an hour and I needed help from another person with fastening the sides to the base, but their help was only necessary for a few minutes. .

The product is nice once it is put together, but it was not easy to construct. The directions are fairly easy, but supplied screws did not fit through the holes in some of the metal pieces and we had to find our own screws. Also, some of the plastic pieces didn't quite fit together correctly. Because of these flaws it took us twice as long as it should have to put together. I can't say I would purchase this again.
