The chairs are very beautiful; however, they are a bit hard/too firm. i still love the contrast with my wooden table. The color is beautiful and doesn't stain easily.

Highly recommended.

Delivery was fast, 4 days after ordering. The quality was as expected. Very comfortable and combinable with any style. I bought 4 and it didn't take me more than 30 minutes to assemble, the instructions were clear. Highly recommended.

chairs don't match

There is a manufacturer defect going on. The square corners where the back piece meets the seat in the product picture are being rounded making it impossible to complete my set with additional chairs. See in the picture: all three are different-even the two curved ones aren't the same curve/seam placement.

These chairs look very beautiful. The fabric is a nice creamy color, a bit velvety. The legs are in metal and are painted as wooden. They are very comfortable. They are very easy to assembly. They are pretty light and easy to move around. They are sturdy, but since they are so light, they might give a cheap vibe. So far the cushion is holding nicely (I have had them for two weeks). I am assuming that the cushion will degrade if we sit for too long, but it is just an assumption.

My previous furniture was quite dark, and I wanted to make my house more inviting with lighter colors. I love how these chairs make the room so bright and beautiful. It made a massive difference in how the dining room looked. The chairs were easy to install. Several bolts were missing, but overstock stated they would ship new ones. I liked how they looked so much that I bought more for the end of the table. I recommend these chairs.

Good value for the price

The reviews were pretty solid and so we ordered 4 chairs. We have 2 boys who regularly bring their friends over to eat so I was a little worried about going with fabric. Sure enough, within hours of putting them together somebody got something on them and then I, myself, spilled tea on them. In both cases I grabbed a wet towel and buffed out the food/drink, then patted it down with a dry towel, let it dry overnight and all is good. Super happy about that! The chairs look more narrow that I expected, but all of our family's butts fit in them. They loved the seat height and even the sturdiness of the seat cushion. I'm pretty darn happy - to the point where I ordered 2 more. I suspect I'll be able to get 2-3 years out of them with slightly more than occasional use.

Very Nice Modern Chairs

Wow! I am very impressed by these chairs. They are very comfortable and of good quality. The wood color legs go great with our table, and they look very modern. The assembly of them was so easy that our teen granddaughter was able to assemble them in less than 30 minutes. For the price, they are a good value. If I had to buy them again, I would with no hesitation.

Sturdy and easy to put together

I purchased 6 of these chairs because I am a fan of midcentury modern. I ordered 4 of the light beige and 2 of the light gray. I love the look and that they were easy to assemble (just had to screw in the legs). I also like that the legs look like wood, but are actually metal. I have 4 kids and after a while the wood chairs just don't hold up. So, I know these are sturdy. We've had a couple of spills, but they came out. I didn't give 5 stars because the seat cushions are a little hard. Other than that, we have been happy with the purchase.

I'm in love with these chairs I wasn't 100% sure about these chairs working well with my dining table. I was concerned about the metal legs made to look like wood and also the color not being as described. Well they arrived and it look me 15 minutes to put all 4 chairs together. The color was a soft light beige (not white or off white like they look in pictures) and the metal legs didn't look cheap, they actually look great. I am so pleased with my purchase, I had to leave a review. If you're looking for mid century dining chairs that don't cost too much, these are them. Sorry for my incomplete decor in the picture, I just moved.

Look great with any decor

These chairs look great and they feel sturdy compared to most of the other chairs that have this particular style. We use these a lot in our house and they haven't shown any wear yet. You can feel an imprint if you press your hand into the seat but it doesn't show otherwise. Highly recommend putting felt pads on the bottom because I forgot to at first and one leg absolutely destroyed our hardwood floors. I should have known better.

Pretty chairs at a great price.

I ordered four sets of two chairs. They were partially assembled; we just had to attach the legs. The legs are metal but painted to look like dark, rich wood. The quality seems good so far. I gave the chairs four stars because they are very firm. I haven't had them long enough to say if they will break in over time. The color was true to the photo.

Chairs look great! Gave a 4 because the legs did require a little extra help from my handyman husband to feel stable.

The chairs look good but are on the small side; the seat is firm and very snug width-wise. The chairs are also VERY lightweight; I'm able to hold the chair up in the air by one leg. I like that they sit 19" tall off the floor, and the fabric is of decent quality. Fabric color is a grayish beige, darker than website photos. Easy to assemble the legs, which are metal but do look like medium brown wood. In hindsight I would choose chairs an inch or two wider and with more weight. Okay for occasional dining, but wouldn't recommend for heavy daily use.

Great looking, comfy chairs!

Great alternative to more expensive similar styles

We've had these for a little over a year and they are holding up great! I was a bit skeptical on the quality for the price but have been pleasantly surprised. Look very similar if not the same to the more expensive brand name ones I was going to purchase. Great cost saving alternative when you are trying to have a nice put together house but have kiddos as well and don't want to have to worry about things getting stained etc.

Wow! The quality of these chairs are fantastic for the price! Easy assembly and the legs just screw on! Took my dad about 30 min total to assemble all 4 chairs. Thinking about buying two more! Would highly recommend. down side is we just ordered two more (few months later) same color in the beige but the fabric is a slightly different shade the ones we got a few months ago. I am dissapointed :(

Great chairs, great value

Searching since March to find just the perfect chairs for the table I had also ordered from Overstock, I kept coming back to these after searching for some time on different sites. They are exactly as pictured. Like another reviewer commented, I, too, feel they are a stiff but am hopeful I will get use to them or they will get broken in over time. I did not find these easy to assemble which is why I gave them 4 stars. It tested my patience trying to get all the bolts to line up in the holes. And, all packages were completely missing the lock washers (which is clearly shown on the directions to use) which sent me running to Home Depot before I could even start assembling. Overall they are very nice chairs for the money and complement the Overstock table I purchased earlier this year.

These chairs are way better than I anticipated! I chose the grey ones with walnut colored legs. The grey is neither too dark nor too light. Perfect shade. They're sturdy and very comfortable. Everyone in my family loves them and always compliments them. They were also extremely easy to assemble. Didn't need directions. I highly recommend getting them.
