I’m still waiting for bronze piece that goes on tub. I’ve called Home Depot twice and they’ve assured me Aston Caroline will mail the piece to me.

Must consider tub wall depth

This product is simply beautiful. The glass, hardware, and mechanism are all superb. HOWEVER, as we were attempting to install, the one measurement I didn't consider was tub wall depth. I don't believe we have an abnormally narrow tub wall but we do have rounded edges. Maybe the radius diameter is larger than average but I never considered prior. The instructions require 1 13/16" from the inside of the fixed glass, to the center holes of the sliding door track divider. Adhering to that requirement would place the bracket in the curve and thus not acceptable. We called Aston tech support who unfortunately had never heard of this challenge prior. Sadly, we will be returning the door. posting this to save everyone (homeowner, installer, Home Depot, and Aston) potential headaches. Measure your tub depth and consider the curved edges!!!

The semi-frameless configuration involved a fixed door and a sliding door. Fully opened, the sliding door allows for an entrance that's about 24.5 inches wide. My tub is 58+ inches long. Seems to me that it would have been better to engineer the construct so the sliding door would be a couple inches wider. The 24.5 opening is somewhat narrowed approach for a wide guy like me. The entrance is more confining if you install it so that the sliding door is at the end of the plumbing hardware. If I had to do over again, I'd install the sliding door at the opposite end of the tub.

Very well designed door, quality feel and appearance, heavy built hardware. Door rollers are cam design so door can be adjusted for height and wall plumb. Fixed panel adjustment to plumb by fit in wall mount. My tub edge slopes in so there was a higher than normal gap which allowed slight spray or dripping under the door and over the sill bar. I added a plastic door seal to the bar to extend it up a little which resolved the issue. Good instructions and easy installation. Comes flat on a pallet that fits in a truck bed. Door weighs 160 lbs.

Very High Quality Sliding Shower Door

This is the second Aston Coraline XL shower door I have installed. The first was a standard step over curb shower. This shower door was installed on an existing CAST IRON tub. Unlike the curb shower installation, the wall-mounted Vertical C-channel was not cut to length to match the height of the fixed glass. There is NO Mention of having to cut this piece to fit in the instructions. If you buy this, make sure that the channel is the correct length BEFORE you mount it.

The doors themselves are beautiful and the 3/8” thick glass are very good quality. The instructions are very basic and I would recomend watching a few you tube videos as all of these doors are very similar. Despite all of the warnings I installed these alone so it is doable but another set of hands would be helpfull. Two things I would advise are to install these before you install the toilet and vanity to give yourself room to manuver and put the sliding door in the tub/shower before installing the stationary glass panel, getting it in afterwards could be a problem

The Aston Coraline XL Frameless Sliding Tub Door is great! I love how it provides a fancy look to my restroom. I am no handyman so I had to have someone install the doors for me, the glass is super heavy so a few people will need to install the doors. I got the frosted glass sliding tub door and I like the privacy it provides when taking a shower.

This shower door is great. Looks beautiful, and for the price you can't beat it. Install was a little tricky, but take your time and follow directions and it's easy enough. I did 90% myself, and only needed a second set of hands when maneuvering the completed frame and glass into position. Of course you have to do this twice, once to line it up and mark the holes, and again when the holes are drilled. It looks great, works perfect.Made with high quality excellent material ! This is a very high quality, minimalist shower door as well …Everything fit together exactly as it should. Assembly went well . So our Thoughts, We love our product, it’s beautiful & super easy to keep clean, highly recommend…More Than Five Stars! This shower door is simple elegance. This is a very nice shower door. It's well made and looks great. I didn't want a shower curtain, and these doors gave our bathroom a nice update. The doors are very heavy, and we didn't want to take a chance with the installation, so we decided to have a contractor install them, and it took two gentlemen to install them. I'm very happy with our new tub door.

First off, I did not install this myself. I read the instructions and decided this was definitely a job for a pro (at least two, actually). But it was fairly simple to get someone out for the job and the price was reasonable. I'd recommend that unless you are very handy and have two people that can lift a lot of weight. So, in regards to how hard it was to install, the best I can offer is the guy said "not bad at all". I do know he pointed out that it was good it came with a very small frame for the stationary panel where it butts up to the wall. That's because most home's walls are not perfectly square but the glass panels always are. So normally you'd have some gap at the top or bottom filled with silicon. But because this has the little frame, it hides any gaps. In my case it was nearly 1/2" out of square but you'd never know. What I can comment on is the quality of the product. I was really happy with the thickness of the glass (3/8") and all the hardware. It doesn't look or feel plasticy anywhere. All heavy and solid. The installer was impressed as well. And aesthetically, it's beautiful. Such a huge upgrade to our guest bathroom over the rod and curtain. It looks like an upscale hotel now. We are very happy with this product.
