I would buy this product again

Gave a Coravin system to friend for Christmas and noticed the aerator that came with it. I did a little research and quickly purchased it. It worked great.

I would recommend the timeless aerator

Expectations are important when this product. For it to work properly, you needs to use more gas. If you willing to spend more to use your Corvin, it has value.

A great attachment to have to enhance your system!

The aerator works perfectly. I have tried both, one for the Pivot and one for the Coravin. They are not interchangeable, as they fit differently, so you need one for each system. But they both work on the same principle, and work quite effectively. Very comparable to my by-the-glass aerator and decanting.

Not very 'timeless' - poor design

I bought this 'Timeless Aerator' several years ago - back when it cost $65. After light to moderate use (3-4 times a month), the rubber around the back ring is torn, making the product useless (see photo). The aerator is a tight fit on the spout of the main Coravin device, which has a sharp metal edge. It seems to me this is a design weakness - after so many times of pushing the aerator on the Coravin spout, it is bound to eventually fail. Or perhaps that's by design! I guess the only up side is a new one is now priced at less than half what I paid for it.

Fantastic for quick decanting

I bought this so I could aerate wines quickly. This is especially useful if you forget to decant wine before cooking dinner and you're ready to start enjoying your wine. Well priced and fits easily on my Coravin system

I would buy this product again.

This product does a great job of aerating the wine as the Coravin pushes the wine out of the bottle. Thus, I get more aromas and flavors from the wine.

Pretty cute.

It’s a cute little device. Compact and well engineered. If you are using a Coravin, you should get it. But I would prefer a more reasonable price. If you have a younger wine, you still have to let it air out in a decanter for an hour. This isn’t that good.

Useful and works well!

I was a bit skeptical at first but I can notice an effect equivalent to decanting thanks to this device which create a nice « wine shower » in my glasses.

Great product!

I LOVE this add on to my Coravin. The price is great for the value too. My wine is perfectly aerated. It screws on so easily and is simple to clean (I just run a little water through occasionally).

First off, love my Coravin and love that it is available at Wal-Mart at such a great price and super easy delivery! I also love this aerator for the Coravin wine system. So easy to order, another super price and delivery was a breeze! This aerator by Coravin, for Coravin, is a win, win!!!!

Great addition to your preservation system

Great addition to your standard Coravin series VI preservation system, fits on top the nozzle perfectly snuggly. Great to aerate red but also white wines. Saves time to decant any wine

Great to have.

Certainly aerates with many fine streams of wine. Splashes wine on sides of glasses so glass of wine appearance isn't as elegant as pouring open bottle or decanter but what the heck, I'm usually using this for wine tasting/sampling or a single glass of wine.

Needs periodic cleaning

My last comments were not favorable . I should have viewed the cleaning video. Although it is not easy to separate the cap and the y shaped plastic in the beginning, its easy if you have a small flat head screwdriver. Works well.

I would definitely recommend this if you have the Coravin!

I'm shocked how many restaurants and cruise ships that have very high end wines and are not able to decant your selection! This spray aerator attachment solves the problem, I take it with me (and my Coravin 5) when I travel and go out to a highend establishments of my personal wine service :)

Amazing accompaniment to the Coravin!!!

Bought this for my husband to accompany his Coravin- it is amazing! I can’t believe we went without it for so long!!!

Definitely aerates the wine.

I've only used it twice and I used it in conjunction with the larger needle. The aerator acts like a shower head exposing the wine to air as it fills your glass. I am not an expert on aeration, so I can't judge if this is perfect or excessive aeration, but it sure does aerate the wine in my experience. The aerated wine tasted excellent, but then, I try to buy good wine that tastes excellent anyway!

A small but excellent investment

Amazing how this works. Simply insert into the Coravin spout and when you pour the wine, it automatically creates a mini-shower that aerates the wine in your glass. Ingenious and well worth the price.

I lost it but so worth buying it again.

The aerator works so well I'm going to order another one because I lost my first one. It really opens up the wine like is been decanted for an hour in an instant. Well worth the purchase
