Excellent work table for my shop

Excellent purchase

I couldn’t be any happier with this purchase. I received this product earlier than expected which was a pleasant surprise. The only assembly needed is to attach the wheels to the table. What I love most about it is that it folds upright and I can stow it in a compact space in my garage.

I would buy this again.

MDF top?!

This is a pretty good workbench. It’s sturdy and rolls around and closes easily. The only thing I don’t like is the composite wood table top. MDF, I believe it’s been sealed so it won’t give you a chemical headache. I guess I didn’t read the description well enough because I wouldn’t have ordered it otherwise. I plan on removing the cheap MDF and adding 3/4” oak veneer plywood on top.

Absolutely perfect- got 2 and used them to hold a very long and heavy deluxe 2-level guinea pig pen. Strength, quality, foldable design and rollers are AMAZING! Far exceeded my expectations- highly recommend this product!

Nice workbench for casual use or light projects.

This is a fairly versatile and functional workbench for basic DIY work. The caster wheels make it difficult to use for serious work-working. The box is comes in is very heavy and requires two people to move easily. The weight is a good thing as workbenches need to be heavy. Assembly is four bolts to secure the legs. It comes with a wrench but one bolt would not secure easily and I had to use a socket wrench. It opens and collapses with easy. When collapse, a lever secures it shut and it rolls nicely into storage on the wheels. The workbench top is a nice MDF (which is my preferred inexpensive top) and you can use clamps on it. I would not mount a large vise on this bench. Overall, great workbebench for the casual DIYer and small projects, especially someone with little room to have one. This bench is made in China

Great Portable Workbench

This is an all-weather workbench. On those pleasant days roll it outside and work your projects, on inclement days employ it in the garage or fold it up and move it into the house. Adding the roller bars to the legs is the only required assembly. I used a ¾" box end wrench as a final snugging of the bolts. I can work a project on the top surface and store needed materials on the bottom one. The workbench sits 34” high so there is no bending over utilizing it. Side grab handles are a great addition for raising/lowering table. Screws anchor the top surface to the frame so replacing a damaged section would be easy. The latch that holds the folded table closed pops off easy is the only weakness. Otherwise, it’s a great workbench.

Very versatile and easy to assemble too

This Cosco brand folding portable utility table was very easy to assemble, requiring only four bolts and washers to secure the set of two base sections that hold the four heavy duty larger size locking casters. A wrench is also provided so you do not need any other tools to assemble this. The parts are even color coordinated with blue and yellow sticky dots to show you which side to install the base sections. I liked the 34 inch work height so you can use this standing very comfortably. The work surface is a little over 51 inches by 26 inches when it is unfolded. There is also a lower metal shelf below the wood composite work surface. It has a locking lever to keep the sections together when you have it folded for moving and storage. There are two heavy duty handles on one side so you can use them to reposition the utility table either fully set up or folded. I only wish I had found this sooner because it is a really useful for any location, whether temporary or permanent! I highly recommend it!

Handy for workbench, BBQ, parties, crafts, yard work, etc.

Assembly is simply attaching color-coded wheel-bars to frame. The latch is intended to hold the outer legs together in an A-frame for rolling while vertical. This is hazardous because the latch doesn’t hold firmly in place, leaving the wheels to roll closer together and the whole bench easily tips over. Safer to roll while folded out. Surface is a very hard MDF. It's not perfectly level yet, might settle in time. The hinges don't have a locking feature to hold the top flat in place. It's not a pretty surface, but adding a cloth or plywood makes it functional for entertaining. The shelf is not removable, and the legs don’t come with holes for adding shelves. Height is not adjustable, but you can add to the surface to make it taller, wider, or longer. The wheels stick out from the frame but don't get in the way. Made in China.

Very cool work table!

I am really impressed with this Cosco SmartFold Portable Workbench / Folding Utility Table with Locking Casters! It took me longer to open the shipping box than it did to attach the wheels and get the table ready for use. It's a very sturdy table and I just LOVE the lockable wheels!. Even for me, a 67 year old woman, the table is easy to collapse and easy to move around, yet it's also so durable I will not have any qualms about working on a major project on its surface.
