Decent product, fairly easy to put together. I purchased this primarily because it was advertised as real wood - and most of it is. I'd rate higher except that I chose the stainless steel top and it is much lower quality than the rest of the cart. Within a week I have staining on the surface despite thorough wiping after each use. No harsh chemicals or acids have been used, just juices from vegetables that dripped from the cutting board and sat for a few minutes until I was done chopping and was able to clean them up. For the price, that is unacceptable.

We bought this and a smaller one. They match perfectly and have added so much counter and cabinet space to our kitchen. Very solidly made. Impressed with the packaging. The granite was not chipped anywhere. Perfect condition. They did need to off gas for a few days. Must have an extraordinary amount of formaldehyde or some other chemical used. That was the only negative, but after off gassing, no big deal. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Kitchen Island

We have a smaller kitchen and needed more counter space when doing food prep as well as some additional cabinet space. The unit is solid wood and seems to be well built. It was easy enough to put together, but did take a couple of hours. The only thing I question is how the countertop attaches to the cabinet. It basically uses brackets that lock down into a slot when the bolts are tightened. It does not move but I do wonder if it will need to be adjusted occasionally. It is easy to move around and locks into place when in use. The color is a bit lighter than what I thought it would be, but when buying online it is hard to tell sometimes. So overall this works perfect for us both esthetically and functionally.
