The color that we selected, warm oak, was red in color. Not the brown that the pictures shows. The bottom of the cart was incorrectly manufactured. I was able to disassemble and reconstruct it so that the sides could be properly installed.

The cart was really easy to assemble following the really good instructions. I did find the assembly to be much easier with two people working together as some of the pieces are large and the top in particular is pretty heavy. I get a lot of great comments from my guests. They think my sideboard is gorgeous

I've built many furniture before - this is is the best so far. No chips, cracks, dents etc. Thanks to the well designed packaging. And the qualify of the finishes are consistent and nice.
Wood cabinet is red wood not brown base.
Assembly took some time but was quite simple. Two people are needed to turn over island during assembly. Preferred the stainless steel steel top. Wood would tend to scratch or stain, marble requires maintenance. very pleased with the unit.

Looked nice, and it was easy to built. However, four weeks after buying it and building it. I tried to move/roll it to clean underneath, and the two wheels broke, sending everything all over the place. Could have injured myself. The bottom, which holds the wheels is basically paper-wood, that does not provide the needed strength for such a heavy piece of furniture

The granite is beautiful. The warm oak is more like a cinnamon in color, I was expecting a lighter oak. Seems to be sturdy but the shelves are not a snug fit, have spaces on the sides, & the pegs easily come out. The drawers have a very thin bottom. Haven't used very long but I like it so far.
[Rewarded Review] Photo color is not accurate
This "brown" kitchen cart is much more cherry than brown (reddish wood tone). Returned to store after unpacking 1 door. Rated 3 stars only because of this. Could not rate based upon anything else since we did not assemble. I do appreciate the ability to return items purchased at Lowes.com to my local Lowe's store.

This is a great product. It arrived in excellent condition, packaged extremely well. My Brother assembled it for me and it took less than an hour. He makes all kinds of wood furniture at his home shop, and he was very impressed with the quality of this piece. I would recommend this to anyone.

Overall a nice kitchen cart for the price. The drawers are uneven but this isn't highly noticeable due to the position the cart is placed in my kitchen. Also the color is more of a light cherry finish than a warm oak. It was easy to put together and the salt and pepper granite top is very nice.

I love my new kitchen cart. Such excellent quality. The instructions were very easy to follow. Even an old lady like me could put it together! Only needed help with the granite top which is quite heavy. It gave me a lot of extra needed storage/work space in my kitchen.

The back panels were not cut to fit accurately, there was 3/8 inch gap between the back panels and the vertical panel guides. The front side looks fine, but the back side looks very cheap and thin. The granite top appeared to have some rough spots in the polyurethane coating as though air bubbles in the coating or missed spots. Not smooth. Generally, it is not horrible for the price paid, but... the photo represents it as a step up in quality to what is actually delivered. In 2019, I no longer expect to get what is advertised... Such is 2019 Americana.
[Rewarded Review] Home Styles Brown Scandinavian Kitchen Carts
Easy to assemble, took about 3-4 hours for 2 people to put the cart together. I love it but I am a bit disappointed because the 2 drawers did not close flush it is a bit a tight to close and I have to pushed it with a bit of a force to close the drawers - I was expecting everything to be perfect. I did not want to return it because it is what I wanted and it was too much of a hassle to return. Overall I love the kitchen cart and can overlook the minor flaw.
Looks well constructed, just not what I wanted.
It looks like the product would have been nice, but the color just was not what I expected. It was almost a cherry wood tint which was not going to fit in with our kitchen.

Absolutely perfect for what I needed. I was amazed how easy and quick this was to put together. Everything lined up perfect. The drawers are so shallow, so don't expect to put anything thick inside them. The only reason I gave this a 4star was because the countertop came shipped with a long hair line crack and can barely be seen. So not enough for me to worry about sending it back.

I read the reviews before I made my purchase and some of the older reviews stated the granite top had been delivered broken, so I requested my Kitchen cart be delivered to my local Home Depot store. While at Home Depot, I asked them to check the top before putting it in my car to make sure it wasn't broken. They assured me it was not. When I got it home and opened the boxes, I was so happy to see the cart and top were in perfect condition. There was nothing broken, no scratches on the cabinet or the granite top. I am 62 years old and proud to say, except for the granite top (too heavy to lift); I was able to put the whole cart together by myself. The instructions were very easy to follow and there were no missing pieces. In fact, there was an extra screw for every section. I really took my time to search for this cart and so glad I chose this one. It is absolutely beautiful and well worth the price. I love, love, LOVE my new Kitchen cart.

The cart itself is great. Difficult to put together, but we expected that. Problem was that once we put the top on, the drawers would not open or close. Had to take the tracks out, drill new holes and reposition the tracks. Very difficult to adjust correctly. Could've been tested at factory and done correctly. Now that we have had the cart for a month, we do like the look and functionality of it. It seems to be pretty sturdy,
Cheap materials, broken panels, warped and misalignment
The materials at the top of the box opening were broken, two back panels and the inside middle weight loading panel. The far right front door is warped. The two upper drawers were misaligned. My husband is very handy. He had to rebuild the drawers which split as the screw holes were too close to the sides. Also one of the drawers did not allow sufficient room to slide in the bottom panel. He was able to fix this but he has a workshop with plenty of tools. With both of us working on this - he works and I fetch - it took over 3 hours. The icing on the cake -- the top drawers overlap the stainless steal top!! Back to the workshop!
RDB
These were pretty laborious to assemble and once assembled they looked pretty well but the two units I purchased which were to be rather similar are not quite the same size and the top of one of them is not totally flat. That may be an assembly issue. They serve the purpose for which they were purchased but I would not get them again. One main disadvantage is the shallow depth of the drawers. It is difficult to fit long knives in them or other long objects lengthwise. They look pretty good however. The wheels are definitely not made for rolling these around very much. One has broken from where attached on the bottom and had to be reinforced with another piece of wood.
Solid cart
Past reviews are effetely harsh for this cart, the cart is great quality for build your own and has solid wood doors. Some of the components are lower end, i.e. hinges, but it went together fairly easy, all the holes lined up once the wood was pushed back in line as it was a little bowed. It came with extra hardware parts and even an allen wrench for your drill!! (no need to cut the one they give you). A couple of the anchors came out as expected, a little glue fixed it right up. I would however say it is a little bit on the difficult side, Maybe call it a 6/10 for difficulty. I recommend a cordless drill.
PLEASINGLY SURPRISED
quality for price is very good; all wood (no particle board); design and assembly was good and not too difficult; sufficient hardware to complete assembly with 1-2 extra screws and/or bolts for most parts of the job; the only part that was poorly designed is the installation of the top; was able to complete the top installation to satisfaction but was difficult to line up properly and secure without it moving out of proper position; will have to be very careful rolling the island around to avoid the top slipping out of place; installation of the top definitely should be changed to incorporate dowel pins like other parts of the island or something more positive than the screw clamps that can allow the top to move out of alignment even during the assembly; was glad the frustrating part of the job was near the last step; also, the installation of the towel rack and the spice rack should have been an earlier step in the process because after the top is installed there is not enough room to turn the bolts--OVERALL, VERY HAPPY WITH A NICE ADDITION TO THE KITCHEN IN OUR MOTORHOME/
