I bought this product for privacy but wanted sunlight coming in as well. This sheild did the job perfectly.

Great as space filler.

Used this along the sides of the large window to fill the side gaps, as the window is wider than 3 feet, which is the width of the Grape Vine sheeting.

Absolute garbage

This product is garbage. It will not stay in place over time. It looks cheap. It randomly bubbles (possibly due to temp changes?) throughout after finished application. Don’t waste your money.

Follow the directions and installation is is easy! Make sure you clean the window prior to installation. We are very satisfied!

Our favorite for privacy while not blocking the natural light. Easy to install. It settles in nicely when it dries. Third house we've used this in.

Thick and effective privacy covering

Pretty thick which is fine but it blocks more light than the other one I tried. It’s a subtle pattern so I like that it’s auspicious and definitely adds privacy!

Sucks, waste of money

Bought 2 boxes with the application spray, squeegee,and knife. Cut too size and says to spray both window and film. This crap won’t stick to the window, continually falls off. Razor blade won’t do jack. Just went through 2 boxes trying and no success. Threw it into the garbage where it belongs.

This is a good product.

Just what I wanted. I needed to reduce the brightness of the morning sun but allow light at the same time. I also very much needed privacy for the long windows next to my front door and the side door to my garage. Perfect.

Works as it should. Easy to apply. Toward the end of the roll there is about 4 inch height that will not stick, ended up needing a second roll.

Non-Adhesive

This film is too heavy to stick to glass. Instant garbage.

Hard to Install

This is very hard to install especially if you are having cold temp.

GILA Decorative Window Film

We love this - it was easy to install and gave us privacy without making it dark inside. Unless we tell people, they think the glass itself is frosted. We highly recommend this product!

Great Window Covering

We bought this to add some privacy along side the window next to our front door and our bathroom windows. This worked out perfect. We measured the windows, laid out the roll of Window Film, cut it, sprayed it and attached it to the windows. We also have the same type of window running above our shower lengthwise in two of our bathrooms so we also did both the bathrooms and one roll of window film was enough to cover all 4 windows with lots leftover. To separate the backing on the film we use scotch tape on both side on one of the corners and simply pulled the two pieces apart. We also purchased the Gila Window Film application solution spray. We cut the film with a pair of scissors and used a piece of cardboard to smooth it all out. If I had more windows I needed covering, I would definitely buy this again. It's been 6 hrs and all the windows are dry and the film is sticking beautifully.

Worked well and looks great!

I needed to block out two windows (lower) and found this at a good price, followed instructions including how to separate the backing from the material. After squeegeeing out I trimmed it like I do for wallpaper.

[Rewarded Review] Easy to use and effective

I had changed a laundry room into a powder room and the window was not a privacy window. I had a blind and a curtain but that made the room dark. So, I put the Frosted Crackled Glass Film by Gila on the window and now it is a bright room with total privacy. I love this stuff. Thank you
