Nice Product

These are very heavy, solid bookcases except for the back which is very thin. The only thing I don't like is that when you move the shelves to accommodate binders, you end up with only 3 shelves.

Beautiful and Sturdy

This looks much higher end than your typical flat-pack bookcase. It's perfectly sized and blends well with our farmhouse decor.

Perfect finish for the bedroom

We refreshed a spare bedroom and used the Dakota Pass collection to furnish it. This bookcase was the last piece. Item is close to 100 lbs shipped, so it's a bit bulky to handle alone. Pieces all fit perfect, and assembly took 90 minutes to 2 hours to complete. It's a bookcase, so not rocket science to put together. Assembling it in the room where it will be used made it easy to just stand it up and walk it in place. Very manageable for one to do once assembled. Very sturdy once complete. All seams pulled tight with no uneven gaps. No damaged pieces. Nice and square . Wife likes it . Happy wife, happy life. Would buy again.

Tall Bookshelf Review

No damage from shipping I saw (as opposed to the last item from Sauder ~ not their fault, but still any damage in shipping is disappointing. . . ) . It came within the time frame as I expected. I had no problems putting it together, well, I put two of the ""Legs"" on opposite, and then the shelfs wouldn't go in. My fault, I was taking my time, but somehow messed up. Reversed the legs, and finished it up. Getting old I guess. It holds a lot of books, which is what I needed it for. Looks good, and oh by the way, the price was very good. I thought I might even purchase another, but they went OFF sale. . . . You snooze, you lose. . . :-). Very good product, easy to put together, looks very good and is solid. Worth every sale price penny! Is it worth full price? Hmmm maybe. . . :-)

Caution, youll lose money if you need to return it

I like Sauder products but when this came in my husband immediately said it was too heavy for what I wanted to do. I looked at returning it but I would have to pay for shipping, could only get credit for a future purchase, and possibly not even full credit. Im sure its a good sturdy bookcase. If I could return it to a local store for a full refund I would be giving 5 stars.

Extremely pleased with product

Bookcase/night stand next to bed. I am pleased at how sturdy it is, and the manufactured quality it possesses. I took my time putting it together, 2 hours from start to finish. It was delivered Sunday morning, and was assembled well before lunch time.

Love the bookcase and color. The wall strap is way too long. We cut it and used a big screw to the stud. My husband loved the funny little notes with instruction manual !! We did fix enchiladas too!!

We have recently moved from a house with numerous bookcases into a home with virtually none. This product, three to be exact, will be a welcome addition to our new home. Very easy to understand the instructions and easy to assemble. Looking forward to other Sauder products for our new home.

Nice looking bookcase for the price.

It wasnt that easy to put together but once I finished it I was happy with the look as it doesnt look like the typical Sauder furniture I have owned in the past. It has a more refined look and is relatively sturdy. It would be perfect if it was a bit taller as my ceiling are 10 foot. But I am very happy with it over all.

Look awesome!

It has been very difficult to find bookshelves that matched my decor. It seemed everyone was out of the color I really wanted. I finally found these. While not thrilled that I had to assemble them (got two). They look great, except I put the back on backwards in haste to assemble the second one (in the process of reordering the part), haste makes waste. Anyway, they look great, they feel sturdy and they hold most of my books and knick knacks. They also weren't terribly hard to assemble. Be warned though, the boxes are HEAVY!! I had to open the box in my garage, after dragging them in there, and open the box in there and take what I could carry bit by bit to the basement before assembly.

I purchased two

American made. quality of this product from packaging to instructions to workmanship is top notch. The furniture is packed in cardboard and then all the edges are surrounded by hard cardboard for protection during delivery. The wood components are substantially solid and the holes are precisely aligned. Instructions were excellent, even adding humor along the way with their side notes.

My library is complete!

I recently moved into a home where a could create a beautiful library. . and am so very pleased with the outcome of this library! We had no trouble following the directions. The only issue we had, with all three boxes. . is the condition of the boxes. All three arrived open, ripped, and 2 were missing the hardware and security straps. Box 3 had the hardware, but 5 shelving pieces were cracked in half. I immediately called after each arrival to request replacement pieces, and Sauder was very prompt and efficient both times. . in answering, and in getting the replacement parts to us. I would buy this bookcase again. . it makes a gorgeous statement in my new office!
