A pretty good bookcase -- assembly a bit tough!
I think this bookcase is quite sturdy and of good quality. Assembling it was, for me, working completely alone (no help), a bit of a task. Getting some of the wood screws to actually screw into the hard wood demanded some pressure applied, but I eventually got everything done.

It has a true oak finish not a cheap laminate.
Looks OK from 10 feet away
I was disappointed in the quality. The finish could have been sanded a little better and there were several places where the stain was missing. There is also about a 1/8" gap at the top and bottom header pieces where they meet the sides that you can actually see light through. It looks OK at a distance.
Well Constructed
I was looking for a solid wall unit and ultimately decided to buy two of these units. I've set them side by side with a cherry wood bridge between the two. Both work for the wall space. Very solid and easy to put together.
