Quick delivery, VERY well packaged. The wood was beautiful, it is a rubber wood from Asia. Hi quality, very solid. If you stain it be sure to sand it well and use a pre-stain.

The bench is very sturdy and took stain beautifully. We were even able to match it with our dining room table. This was definitely worth buying.
I could not have made such a quality bench at this price. It’s perfect for the mudroom entryway for either for putting on or removing boots, shoes, etc. I also use it as a place to lay groceries when I have several bags to bring in from the car. The smooth finish will make either clear coat or paint easy to apply. Beautiful Piece.

I purchased this a bit over 7 years ago when an unfinished option was offered so that I could paint it for a particular room. It came out beautifully. The bench is well made and sturdy. I wish they still offered the unfinished version - I would buy a couple more.
