This is a very sturdy desk, easy to put together since you are just screwing on the legs and the drawer pull. It's heavy, but well-packaged, The drawer is large enough for expandable trays (like a cutlery expandable tray), and I like the simple design and the large surface area which allows me to put computer, phone, papers , etc. on it and still have room to do small projects.

I comparison shopped the item across several websites and Home Depot offered the LOWEST PRICING plus free ship to store for pick-up. I wanted this particular desk because of it’s dimensions. The ONLY assembly needed is bolting in the legs - super easy - and the drawer knob!

Nearly 20 years ago I had a desk similar to this. This was the closest I could find to what I had given up when I left my position. I am so pleased with this desk. I receive a number of complements and inquiries regarding the styling. I use it as my desk and it seems to be less of a barrier to communication when I meet with individuals or groups. It takes up less space than other desks and I simply use the built in cabinets shelves and drawers for my needs. It engenders a much less cluttered atmosphere. Everyone loves it. I placed a glass sheet on top, so it does not scratch the wood and provides an easily cleanable surface.
