The timer is not what I was hoping for. The bell is inaudible if you’re not in the immediate vicinity.

I bought this Zassenhaus timer from another vender. I'm now on Target's website looking for a new timer, because the Zassenhaus times beautifully and needs no batteries, but the ring stopped working after less than a year. In other words, it could time but couldn't tell me when the time was up unless I was standing there watching it! A bust.
This retro timer is so cute on my fridge. Great pop of yellow color in my kitchen. Works well!
I wanted this more for decor than for purpose, thinking that pretty much every appliance I own plus my cell phone has a built in timer, but I have very quickly found myself reaching for this in a practical way time and time again! And it looks so cute on my fridge!
I absolutely love this little timer! It’s exactly what I needed! The color is vibrant and it’s easy to use!
I saw some of the reviews mention that this timer is a little quiet - that meant it was perfect for me! I'm pretty sensitive to noise, and I find that the timer is loud enough to get my attention but not loud enough to startle me. Because the timer is mechanical, if you want to get the full volume you need to make sure to wind the timer all the way to 55 minutes, and then back down to the time you actually want.
I wanted to love this. It is nice to look at and feels quite solid. So I was disappointed to find that, one week after purchasing it, it seems to just stop and never go off about half the time. Especially too bad as it is replacing a timer that served me well for over 15 years,
I have needed a timer for ages and this is the perfect one and the perfect size. I can leave it on the counter all the time. It is just the perfect splash of color to decorate too.

Everything, but am adjusting to the ring. Happy it gets my attention. Super magnetic and easy to read and I have limited vision. It is cute , too!
