BUYER BEWARE!I had previously ordered this item in the taupe color, it is flannel as described and is fine. I ordered coronet blue and received microfiber not flannel. The label on the coronet blue says microfiber and has a sticker covering the bar code. Sticker says flannel but underneath says microfiber. The taupe package said flannel and has the button bottom and flannel tote included. The coronet blue set has a zip bottom and no tote bag. I returned the original coronet blue order and had them resend it only to receive microfiber again. I will be returning this set as well and not reordering from this company again which is a shame since the original taupe set is fine.

This is NOT the duvet cover of your dreams, sadly. After one wash, this came apart at the seams in multiple places. Completely useless. AND! it's a HUGE pill-fest. It will shed all over your bed like there's no tomorrow - you absolutely do NOT want to buy from this brand. Horrible manufacturing, dreadful quality. Yuck.

Arrived and looked fine, washed it/dried it on low and went to put it onto my blanket as a giant tear formed. I was being very gentle and not applying force so I was shocked to see this, for such an expensive product this is unacceptable. Tear hole is 4" wide now just from me trying to get the duvet off the blanket. I've bought duvets from Target and even discount stores at lower price points before and NEVER had his happen, very disappointed with the quality.

Wow. Got this as a registry gift and it’s so amazing ! I’ve never seen or heard of a flannel duvet sent what exactly what it is! Honestly going to change my sleep/ life. I saw some other comments saying it’s scratchy and not soft. They most of gotten the wrong order because this is 100% a very soft flannel material like a flannel sheet. Thank you!

Bought this to use in the trailer for camping season. We are not fair weather campers and don't run the furnace at night so want to be coccooned in warmth. The flannel is excellent quality, I washed it, hung out on the line then ran it through the dryer to remove any "extra" fluffs. I didn't get much so that suggests to me finer quality. Between this duvet cover and flannel sheet set we are set I recommend

We bought this flannel duvet in white last spring and loved the softness and warmth. It gave up a lot of dryer lint the first couple of washes and there is always some pilling with flannel but overall we were very happy….So… I ordered another in the Blue Heather. The fabric was described exactly the same but what arrived today is very different. It’s very heavy rough canvas like fabric with no nap or softness at all. Pretty color though. Ill be returning ASAP.

I also have Bare Home's flannel sheets and cotton sheets which are well made so I knew the flannel duvet cover would be well made, too. Great seams, internal ties. Well sewn buttons with tidily stitched button holes. I purchased the duvet weeks after the flannel sheets but the color is a perfect match. The flannel sheets and cotton sheets have been washed and dried in the dryer many times and are still perfect. Wonderful brand. Nice to find a brand with great attention to detail and very reasonable prices. Thanks, Bare Home!

I purchased this duvet cover in light blue to add some warmth in the winter months for myself and my pets. The light blue is lovely, exactly as pictured, and my cat made herself at home immediately. I purchased this color after learning that animals see blue really well. It washes and dries well and is extremely soft! This color would also be great in a child's bedroom because it is a light and bright blue, no hint of gray, so if you are wanting a more neutral or warm tone friendly color this is not it.

I bought the twin size to put on the duvet I use when watching my shows in my Lay Z Boy. I loved it so much I bought one for my bed. I was excited to put it on the duvet for bed until I saw one side had a big tear in the seam. I contacted customer service and they promptly offered me a refund or a replacement. I chose the replacement bc I love this duvet so much. Hopefully my tear was just an anomaly. I would get this duvet again since I love it and the customer service is fantastic.

This duvet cover was advertised as flannel and the reviews of the same item in other colors were consistent with the description as soft, velvety, cozy. The fabric of the one I received was definitely not soft or velvety - more like a light weight canvas and slightly scratchy. I gave more stars because the customer service I received was so great. I talked to a very nice woman at Bare Home customer service who advised me to wash it, that the fabrics can become considerably softer with washing. I did this with a little improvement, but still not really soft. I left a message with customer service and my call was returned promptly by the same woman, who issued a refund right away. She was friendly and professional throughout and I am in the process of choosing another color of the same product, as she said the solid colors (not "heather") were definitely softer. I appreciated this kind approach and feel confident buying from this company in the future.

This duvet cover is soooo nice!! It definitely feels like 100% cotton, soft yet heavy as it should be. Doesn’t have that synthetic feel. If you’ve ever owned any 100% cotton sheets, you’ll understand what I mean. And if you haven’t, I highly recommend you try it, it’s so nice. It comes in a cute tote bag made of the same fabric that you can use for anything. I love the duvet cover so much, I ended up buying a second one right away.

I got this because, my dog loves chewing on blankets. I recently had to replace my down comforter, due to a dog chew, feather fest fiasco. It does make the blanket a lot warmer, either fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on who you are and where you are (in your life). for me personally, it’s a bit hot for a home in Los Angeles. That said, if you’re summiting the frosty cliffs of the beautiful Kilimanjaro- this duvet cover is just right.

I needed a duvet cover and pillow shams for our guest bedroom and was very pleased with the quality of the product and how timely I received it. My only disappointment was that it wasn't until after I opened and washed the items that I realized there was a split in the material of one of the pillow shams. Because I did not have time to return the product and because I really liked it, I stitched up the 2" tear. It was definitely a flaw in the fabric that was not noticeable until I put it on the pillow, not from opening the package and accidentally slicing the material. I know that these things happen, but I was disappointed to have to repair a brand new item.

This duvet cover was so disappointing. I bought a set of the flannel sheets from the same company and they were super thick and heavy and washed up pretty well considering their price point so I decided to go ahead and grab this duvet cover when it went on lighting deal. It was obviously thinner out if the package but its going to be doubled up so I figured what the hey. It came out of the dryer though just looking ratty and pilled horribly. Washed/dryed again in hopes that it would strip off some of the pills. No luck. Maybe it's the difference in colors? I got this in blue and the sheets in buffalo plaid. It definitely don't see this getting softer and more comfortable with each wash and wear.

I ordered king size. First I washed it as the instructions suggested. The piling of the material is horrible!!! Clogged my dryer. One button even broke in half in the wash (delicate cycle). Once I got the outside all cleaned off, the inside was worse. The fit is totally wrong. I have a foot at the end. And it’s not even long enough to cover the edges. And yes, I’ve inserted the duvet the correct way. Even tried the other was just in case. Complete rubbish. No sense it going through the aggregation of returning it. I’ll give it to a friend to make cushion covers out of it. Worthless. Don’t waste your money. Completely disappointed.

I’ve bought quite a few items from Bare Home over the years and they never disappoint. The quality is great! I wanted a winter duvet cover this one is amazing! Between the microfiber sheets this flannel duvet cover, our bed is the coziest ever. My only wish is that there were ties on the sides not just the corners to keep my duvet in its right spot, but definitely not a big deal.

Placed and received order very quickly. Laundered the same day and warning your dryer lint screen will be full so clear it! That's completely normal and to be expected with 100% cotton flannel so don't be alarmed something is wrong. Its super soft, has internal ties to secure your comforter and truly well made! I went with this item due to it being a natural material. Stay away from microfiber and polyester. There's a reason they are cheap! Spend the extra $30 and get yourself natural materials. Better for you and the environment too. No complaints or buyers remorse. Super happy and a portion of your purchase goes to charitable causes too making you feel comfortable not just with a warm and cozy duvet but also with a company who cares. Would buy from Bare again.

This duvet is awful. I don't understand the positive reviews. It's cotton but so cheap feeling. It's not soft at all and attracts lint and hair like crazy. Worse is that my down comforter is ruined. This duvet bled red lint all over it and my once white comforter is so red and pink now that not even tbe dryer will help remove it. I have bought a lot of comforters, quilts, bedding, etc in my lifetime but this is the absolute worst quality I have ever seen in my life. Sadly if Bare Home doesn't return this, I am tossing it in garbage. Not even tbe goodwill will take this. Waste of money .

I was impressed with the quality, especially for the price of this duvet. It was shipped as promised and immediately given the wash test. It came out fluffier and softer than it arrived and washed well. Make sure you clean your dryer filter after because it did shed. There are ample ties for the sides and bottoms to attach to my down quilt. The buttons (way better than zippers) on the top work well but I can see where I might have to reinforce them if washed too often. As soon as I figure out what other color I want I may just buy another to have on hand.

I am totally blown away at how soft this cover was before and after washing. The dryer caught a lot of lint in the first drying. I prefer most of the remaining dryings be 80 or 90 dry and then I hang to finish. BARE........ This is a solid, bold red. I do wish it was deeper or darker. Almost with a hint of maroon would be great. Another thought I had was instead of the carry bag with long handles, make them very short and add a button closure so we can stuff it with an 18" othrow pillow insert! That way we can tuck in the straps and button close it and have an awesome throw pillow to match!Just remember to send me a few pair when you implement this awesome idea!
