Terrible!!! Absolutely no stars!!
Lovely Beige 2.5m awning
This is a very attractive addition to my garden. It covers a vast area, so my daughter has a nice shady place to play. The awning material looks strong, durable and the beige colour suits my garden. I have also purchased a retractable screen from this company. I would recommend them.
I was apprehensive after unpacking. It looks intimidating to install. It does require careful location on the wall and must be a certain distance below the eave. I had to improvise a 25 mm spacer beneath each mounting bolt on the wall. Also had to adjust the front bar to be level after unfurling. Everything worked well; easy to to unroll and roll back. It looks fine. I'm pleased. Be careful not to leave unfurled in winds higher than 25 kph. There are 2 sets of instructions, and they are not quite in synch.

The item is good VFM. However, there were a few issues. 1. I ordered 2 x 3 m assuming the actual canopy would be 3 m wide but it only measures 2.5 m. 2. The bolts provided did not do the job. We had to buy longer stronger bolts and re-fit it. 3. Although we expected not to be able to use it in windy conditions, it seems that even a little wind makes it blow about a lot. It was fairly straightforward to fit, so long as the instructions are read properly. My husband is an engineer though and this kind of stuff does not faze him!
I installed a 13' Sunsetter by myself a few years ago; took me about 4-5 hours. I installed this awning (8') in 90 minutes including opening and unpacking -- incredibly easy. I paid $170 on sale -- incredible steal. This awning surpassed my expectations in every way (looks, simplicity of install, adjustability from 15-45 degree pitch, practicality, and quality). I would highly recommend this. I thought I'd need a pressure treated header -- but didn't end up needing it for the 8 footer (which has 2 brackets; anything longer than 8' comes with 3 brackets).
This awning was delivered in 2 days as promised. Then my son and I installed it. A few tips:
