A good build. Could be your "Show Off" piece!
Instructions for assembly were adequate, but sparse. Pictures showed many of the steps in one drawing. I used 6 oz. of carpenter glue on all the dowels. And there were a lot of them. A dowel and a metal pin on the joints made a strong connection. The combination of dowel/pin on ends of boards helped with the orientation of the pieces. Beautiful butcher block top. Ingenius design on the two top drawers to access the same drawer with a safety pin (dowel) in the middle. Basically, you have access to the same drawer from both sides. Only about one-half of the drawer is used on each side.
Highly recommendable
This is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture! Very solid and accessable Island. The drawers pull out both sides so if you need a spoon or spatula quickly, it's right there. Not much storage for pots and pans but enough for a full case of water or paper towels etc.
Not bad for the price
Arrived in good shape. Took about 4 hours to assemble. Instructions were good and pretty easy to follow. Overall the quality is pretty good for this price. The door hinges were not the best, but they do the job. The two chairs were pretty nice and easy to assemble, however the bolts that attach the legs to the seat was a little too short. Had to purchase longer bolts.

Size and quality are amazing.
The quality of the stools and countertops are exceptional. The stools are nicely padded and the butcher block countertop is great for the farmhouse look I was looking to achieve.

Classy kitchen island
Quick, free delivery. No problems with the boxes. I had done a lot of research before this purchase, and I am very pleased. We were limited in the size of an island for our kitchen, but this fits perfectly. It is classy looking. Nice butcher block top. Drawers open from either side as do lower doors. There was a slight paint smell, but nothing too bad. We also received two black stools with padded seats. A nice bonus!

The Crosley kitchen we purchased was exactly the size we where looking for to fit our century old large kitchen. The fact that it has double drawers and cupboards that open on both sides is a plus. The only draw back is that it comes unassembled (it took 4 hours to put together) and my husband had to add a washer to the one door to keep it from rubbing. But all in all we are quite pleased we our purchase.
