I spent a lot of money I didn't realize I had to put it all together and some of the dowels that come with the complete assortment of nuts and screws are to long so I could use to as protection I had to take them out so the screws and holder can screw together

Beautiful piece of furniture. Well built & sturdy. Assembly was a little time consuming but directions were easy to follow.

I would buy this product again!

Not easy to assemble

Looks really nice when it is completely assembled.The problem is, the installation. I needed help with lining up the butcher block and the cabinet top assembly. A couple of the holes didn't line up perfectly and that caused a problem. I recommend looking at the hardware and parts list that is on this page and then decide if you want to tackle the installation. The base measurent says 48" and the true measurement is 41", that's 7" of cabinet space.that you'll lose. I called customer service and they credited me $*** back on my credit card which I feel I deserved for the storage space I lost.

Great Kitchen Island!

Excellent purchase! The Kitchen Island exceeded our expectations. It was easy to assemble following the detailed directions. I highly recommend.

Not Worth It

The quality of the wood is great. The quality of the craftsmanship is poor. Holes are slightly in the wrong place so the doors on each side don't close evenly and one rubs up against the frame. The drawers are what I'm most disappointed about, as they are not on metal railings so they are a bit difficult to pull out. And the openings for the drawers are a bit off too, one of the drawers is harder to pull out than the other. There are no white stickies to cover any of the holes inside of the cabinet. Overall, it looks ok, it's pretty functional but it's definitely not worth what they are charging for this. I probably would have been better off buying something cheaper from **** and a bit disappointed in myself that I didn't. Unfortunately not returning because of the amount of work that we already put into this cabinet to put it together and will have to put more into it to take it down and get it mailed back. My time is worth more than that.

We’ve had this for a little over a year and I don’t know what we did without it! Super sturdy and heavy with lots of room for storage. Nice but her block top that is sealed nicely. We love it.

Assembly Problems

The kitchen island, once put together, is fine. However, we had a great deal of trouble assembling it. The bottom of the drawers was the wrong size and would not fit into the frame. The pilot holes were too big so none of the screws would tighten. Instead of using the provided screws, we used machine screws and nuts to build the drawers. We tried to return it but Overstock charges customers for the return shipping labels.

Not all holes were drilled in correct spots so spacing between drawers and cabinet doors not even. Not 100% happy with it but not taking it apart to send it back. That would be too much more work for us as we are both 80 years old.

Great design, love this piece!

Love the design of this piece, with access to drawers and doors on both sides of the island. Really great piece for the price!

we love these so much we brought 4 of them and used 3 of them for counters

Very disappointed. We had to hire a handyman to finish building our island. He had to improvise on several steps as the product did not have the correct screws and pre-drilled holes. Although the end product looks as advertised this was not easy to build. Be aware that the draws and cabinets open on both sides

Pretty Island

I really like the Crosley kitchen island.i would have rated it a 5 ,but i had to have Crosley send me new parts due to problems . I give Crosley a 5 for great customer service and quick handling of my concerns.
