Excellent Sealer

A top quality sealer. Easy to apply and results in a rich tone, eye-popping highlights on aggregate stone concrete.

We were really pleased with the ease of application and results of using the Ghostshield 5505 concrete sealer. Our biggest problem was figuring out why it had a rubber gasket around the top and how to get it off! Once we had pulled it off, we realized that the can opened just like any paint can. We used a thick nap brick roller, which worked will to get the product into the creases in our stamped concrete patio, but still allowed us to put on only a thin layer, as the instructions specified. We put on one coat, and then went back with a small brush to get any creases or edges that were missed with the roller. Now our patio looks great! The only thing that would make it better would be to have a handle like a one-gallon paint can.

Great product, but application instructions are very vague.

The reason I am giving this a 4 star rating is because the application instructions do not detail that for this product to be sprayed on you need to have a professional HIGH PRESSURE sprayer, not just a pump-up garden type sprayer capable to handling a solvent based product. The pump-up garden type sprayers are featured in lots of videos of their different products, so without explicit instructions not to use that type I believe others may have my problems as well.

The material went on easy and looked great. Because I used it around my pool I had to add the anto-skid material. It worked great and no slipping so far. I used between the medium and heavy amount.

Fantastic Product!

Such an easy to use product for the average homeowner. Our 25 year old colored and stamped concrete driveway looks brand new! We have used other concrete sealers in the past but this product seemed to go on much easier than other brands. Looking forward to the summer with our shiny new driveway being the envy of the neighborhood!

The first thing was speaking to someone at the company. When I called with some questions, I spoke to a gentleman that knew about everything to do with their products. He told me how much to order, how to use the sealer, along with addling the non-skid amounts and in what weather conditions to be aware of.

awesome and easy!

very easy to apply, dries fast, has a strong solvent smell so be prepared for that. I didn't think I would like the wet look at first but now that it's down, it looks great! I used the densifier 4500 first then stained the concrete with a transparent stain and with the cryli 5505 it looks amazing, even better than I was hoping for. I highly recommend Ghostshield products, and the customer service is great, too.
