Have had these chairs in our home for some years and wished to complement those we already had. They are extremely comfortable and perfect for the ambience of our dining area.

very stylish product

This is a beautifully designed chair but how to keep it from being scratched?!! I have it in my bedroom and read the instructions which warned against wearing anything with sharp edges, buttons, metal etc. I have been extra careful when sitting on it but discovered the other day a number of scratches on the back of it presumably from the stitching on the pockets of my trousers - nothing sharp at all. Also there are some "wear" scratches on the seat. For the price you would expect it to be fairly scratch proof at least, I'm really disappointed in the quality.

Problems of quality judgement

Buying on line, I have no idea what level of quality the Kartell Louis Ghost Chairs were supposed to have. They weren't perfect. There were minor marks on the arms that might be due to the manufacture and to be expected. They were in the same place on each chair so the assumption is they were caused by machinery. Whether it is a minor fault or not I wouldn't have a clue. The chairs are very stylish and delightful.. I would welcome advice from John Lewis if the chairs are in their stores and if these marks are normal or not.

Gorgeous chair

Although sturdy and comfortable, this chair is a classically designed Regency ghost chair! Seeming to take up no space and so light to move, it is substantial and a true work of art.

Poor

Ordered one of these along with a Victoria chair for my newly extended bedroom. After the reviews, what a disappointment. One arm was cracked, the back of the chair was scratched in three different places and the other arm also had scratches on it. Obviously it went back on the van with the delivery driver. I would also add that the smaller chair also had a scratch on the leg - not what I would expect from JL. I will have another delivered, but any problems that will go straight back too.

Beautiful chair

Beautiful looking chair, fabulous quality, looks really impressive. I've used it with the JL Frost Console table as a dressing table and chair in my dressing room. Looks very glamorous and modern.

Too beautiful & stylish

Looks great in my new build open plan living/kitchen room (looks more spacious) I bought 2 of these to go with 2 Victoria ones using a wooden dining table. Comfortable, light weight, stackable and so cool. Beware not to have any metal clothing near them (incl Jeans). Use a microfiber cloth to clean them. So happy I bought these.

I'm in love with a ghost.

I am so pleased with my purchase, and with YLighting. This was my first purchase with YLighting and I have only compliments for the company: easy ordering process, speedy delivery, and well-packed goods. (So well packed, in fact, it took about an hour to remove all of the packing "peanut" residue from my chair. But the chair arrived in perfect condition.) I adore my chair. Adore!
