I will have to order another one. I originally bought this for my office, but my kids now use it for their backpacks. Very sturdy and nice quality. Easy to assemble. Highly recommend.

I'm always disappointed when the hardware doesn't seem to be adequate for a solid, tight assembly. The coat rack wobbles after all the hardware is in according to instructions, due to screws apparently not long enough. Holes for the small screws should be pre-dug, and the base pieces should fit more snug when screws are in.

The coat rack is mainly MDF and not real wood. The coat hooks are low quality so I bought new ones. But I like the design and color.

Looks good but hardware is garbage

The directions and screws provided are garbage. Two screw heads immediately sheared off while trying to build it followed by a third, which made it almost impossible to complete. We had to get inventive with alternatives and I'm hoping it doesn't break within the next few months. The base wasn't balanced so we also had to place foam pads to level it better.

I like the design, but the color is not walnut. It’s has too much of a reddish tone.

Just what I was looking for

This hall tree was just what I was looking for to place in my small entryway. It is fits in a a small area yet is sturdy and solid. It will hold winter coats without a problem.

I was looking for a traditional-style coat rack for my bedroom, and this one is perfect for my needs. It is heavy (15 pounds, info I couldn't find on the website) with a substantial base, and thus very stable, which was important to me, because I don't want it to fall over with only a couple of items hanging on it. The description says it is easy to assemble. I guess it depends on how you describe easy. I was glad my brother was here with his power drill, strength and expertise, which made assembly about 45 minutes. The instructions were easy to follow, thankfully, as there were lots of screws. I wanted a coat rack in the 5 ft. range, but have concluded they don't exist; assembled this rack doesn't seem the 6 ft. tall that it is. I also wasn't sure I was going to like the hooks in the middle as well as at the top, but I find they give me more options. Overall a great quality product.

Attractive and Substantial

This coat rack is attractive, substantial, and versatile, as I can envision it being used in a mudroom, a formal entryway, or bedroom. The color is as shown in the photo--a rich deep mahogany. The base is sturdy; the pole of a design that blends well with both traditional and more contemporary furniture styles. It's easily assembled. I'm pleased with this purchase!

Very Nice Coat Rack

This coat rack is a solid piece that looks like it came from a bygone era. It's well made, classic, and a nice addition to our entryway. We started with a small bench, added a cabinet and mirror, and finally decided we needed a coat rack. Despite the piecemeal approach, it all works together. Highly recommend it for an entryway or bedroom

Sturdy and well made

Love it! Sturdy, solid and beautifully made. It was very easy to put together and I have had no issues with it. I like the lower hooks for the kids to hang their own coats. Hooks are large enough that coats don’t fall off.
