Smoked a pork loin, and my smoker did an excellent job. 8 hours and it was very tasty, moist, and falling apart. Had a group meal and everyone loved the pulled pork for sandwiches.

Needs redesign

Air flow needs a redesign a bigger charcoal pan with no holes in the bottom I will say it smokes ok for a little bit until the charcoal pan fills with ash then the holes on the bottom fill up with ash and the air adjustment on the bottom fills up with ash and the air flow is choked off and the fire goes out with everything wide open I do have a different brand with a similar design and work really well but I need a bigger one thought it would work well I was wrong I know Cuisinart I s a great product but not this particular item I am disappointed in this item

Good price but realize it's not too quality

The price is very good vs the Weber which is top of the line. The temperature gauge was faulty and they sent me another. After about a year the replacement gauge is faulty too. I use Thermapro that gives a good reading for meat and ambient temperature. The band that holds the charcoal on the grate should be higher. Ive had trouble controlling the temperature but im getting better. Some sealant would probably help contain the heat. It is a good price but it is definitely not top of the line.

Assembly is awkward

I’m working on putting this together now and it is crazy awkward to assemble. Need 2 people.

It is very reasonably priced. However not worth it. Poor design and poor construction. Starting from the top down. The vent does not close completely. The grate holders were pre-installed crooked. The door handle latch is useless. Does not stay shut. Door is rusting. Latches are flimsy, bent immediately and rusting after 1 week outside. The preinstalled hooks for latches were installed crooked making hard to latch. The water bowl cannot be removed without spilling water every where. No room to grab or lift. The bottom air vent fills up with ash, thus defeating the purpose.

Check your purchase real good for damage

The item was broke. The thermostat was broke when we opened yhe box. Smoker is nice

Great Smoker / Grill Unit for the price

I purchased this pit as a gift for my father's birthday and I must say that my father was happy with this vertical smoker. This unit can produce some tasty BBQ and Sear food easily. The paint on the unit does peel I noticed from the heat but over all it's a great unit that's affordable and lightweight. I highly recommend this vertical smoker to the beginner or backyard BBQ enthusiast. The ash-catching system also isn't the best nor is the charcoal ring.

I purchased this mainly to smoke meats and cheese, however, it can also be used to grill food. The quality is amazing; the metal is thick and covered with a thick coating of heat and rust resistant black enamel. The grates are stainless steel and are also thick enough to withstand the high heat of grilling. Assembly was required and only took about 15 minutes. This smoker is large enough to handle more food than a family of eight can eat. The temperature is easy to control via the vents and their adjustments are sensitive enough that you can get the perfect temp and air flow. This is a great smoker for a really great price. I am extremely satisfied and would highly recommend it.
