Just the housing

no wall bracket or wrench sold w system. Cant see thru either, but heavy duty plastic and functions as advertised.

no brass thread inserts, theyre plastic. but thats fine, just have to be careful if not using plastic pipe cause they seem to cross thread easily. the real complaint here is a lack of a mounting bracket. other than that, seems to be really good quality. well see how it does in the long run though.

It’s came without hanging bracket or cartridge, ratchet to close the housing now it’s leaking why I should buy the ratchet separate it doesn’t make sense it’s just like buying the lock and the keys separate

I replaced this housing with the Culligan clear housing with bypass valve. The clear housing started leaking at the area where the bypass valve is. So I'm switching back to the blue housing and notice it has a 5-year warranty vs 3-year warranty. Sometimes simple is better!

Good solid filter housings. Cons are that they do not come with mounting brackets or with a filter wrench.

It leaks

Despite that it is made of pretty well plastic, it was leaking. So, I think its thread could have been more tight.

Heavy duty and better than clear

Works as it should, will not be as brittle like the clear one. A must have for outside use.

We use this particular one on a water line that goes into our camper and it works nicely. We change the interior filter periodically due to sediment in the well water.
