It has just been installed, that went well. We will see when I drain the water heater and take out the new anode rod, if any calcium has accumulated on the rod or out of the bottom drain?

Great features, but instructions leave a bit out

I bought this 9 months ago and have had noticeably better water quality when running hot water. Less build up on my shower walls and fixtures and fewer leaky faucets from build up in the valves.

For most people this is an easy install. We had very little space in the water line before the heater to place this device which does not have a bracket to hold it up. That means the water line itself needs to hold the weight of the fitting and the element.

An essential when installing a tankless water heater

Tankless water heaters heat water quickly and where the water has a lot of lime and other minerals, scale develops on the heat tubes and then come loose. The screens at the faucets catch the scale requiring frequent cleaning. This product keeps everything clear.
