What can i say? This filter is my go to every time the fridge needs a new one. Super easy to install and keeps the ice cubes tasting fresh and clean.

I got a bypass plug from GE to remove the filter inside the fridge. I use this filter by itself now. Much cheaper than the GE filters and lasts longer.

This has been the best filter I have ever used in all the 20 years I have lived here. It does the job and does not readily clog as some others I have tried. MLB

The AquaPure filter had 5/16" threaded fittings

In order to use the recommended AquaPure filter, I would have had to buy 5/16" threaded fittings to connect to the filter and then connect the other end to my existing water line. I took the filter to two different big box national stores along with a sample of my existing water line and was told the 5/16" fittings are not standard and they didn't carry anything that would work with the filter and my existing water line. So I returned the Aqua Filter, and bought a different filter at a local big box store that was less expensive with standard thread fittings and was good for 5 years. Easily installed standard 1/4" fittings, better price, and good for 5 years - a much better solution for me.

Not satisfied yet.

We installed the filter yesterday into our icemaker. We still don't have clear ice. I purchased a clear-ice product and thought the filter was the missing piece when the ice was not clear. I need to investigate further but at this point, I'm not satisfied.
